Just a heads up. They added in a 17-year-old Jesus Made for Milwaukee. If you change the age to 18 it won’t change back. However you can export that version and import him into another roster at 17.

The front page has been updated as of 04/21/25.

There was 0 scan faces added in this weeks roster update (4) 04/18/25.

• Possibly there were some more added not mentioned in the Roster Update documents, but I am only going by what I have seen. Once myself or others have confirmed any SCANS I will try to mention those on the front page.

If they get the placeholder face like this, and you start a franchise, then the face gets updated as it does with the roster right? Since only the scanned faces can get altered by SDS once you start.

It will overwrite it because it uses the same player code. It’s only when it’s a CAP face that it won’t overwrite. I tested this out last year and it worked when it was changed because of the player ID matching.

I find it super hard to believe that almost 300 guys didn’t want their face scanned into the game. That’s every kids dream is to be in a video game. I just don’t believe that 300 guys declined scans…makes no sense. Especially when they used to have literally everybody scanned that even appeared in one game the prior season. And they’ll scan dudes after a few years now, why would a player not want their scan for years and then all of a sudden want it? I think it’s just laziness on honestly

It’s our dream to be in a video game. Some of these guys don’t care because during spring training, it takes time out from the hundreds of other things they are doing to get ready for the season. Mike Trout one of the best players in the game today and it took 7 seasons to get him to get scanned. Harrison Bader has been in the league for 9 seasons and still hasn’t gotten a scan.

If it was up to SDS, everyone would get scanned. Some guys just have better things to do than waste the time.

Ian Anderson and Oscar Gonzalez were added with scans with 4/18 update.

Could be others as well but noticed those two so far.

I want to apologize for my previous comments. Mlb the show finally fix most of the big head issues, they only missed Jacob Wilson and Nico Hoerner and please put Jurickson Profar back, send him to free agents but don’t delete him ,remember that for us it’s only a game, let us decide to use him or not .

They wont be adding Profar back until his suspension is over.... Nothing we can do about it until then.

Completely unhelpful. We all understand that Mike Trout is not getting scanned. If you argument is none of 300 players got scanned than that means we won't get any scans the rest of the year right? It's false, they have scans. And it shows how the last few years, they have just trickled in scans throughout the year. Their process now is just extremely slow for some reason.

It would also be a more accurate summation to say MLBTS did not got to player A's camp to scan the player than to say 300 players opted to not take a 30 min scan to be in a video game.

At the end of the day none of us know what the process is or why things are implemented the way they are so your post is just as “unhelpful” as the one you’re replying to…….. SDS has their reasons for why they do what they do and all the assumptions by us are not productive or useful

I don’t see how it’s unhelpful when it’s also true. I will admit it’s definitely not the only reason because they do have scans that aren’t in the game yet. It’s just people here seem to act like every person who makes it to professional baseball is a hard core gamer like this community when that’s not true. I guess I took my point too far but that’s what I was getting at.

Would you say it’s because the scans are much more detailed now so it takes longer to get them in the game? If you look at someone like Verlander who had a scan for years vs someone like Elly or J-Ram who have new scans, the difference in quality and detail is pretty drastic.
