I will tell you what worked for me. After playing 70 games with these sliders. (which are amazing) I couldn't hit for s**t. Last in average homeruns and runs scored. I switched sliders back to allstar default and played 30 games. In those 30 games I hit more hr and 2b than I hit in the first 70 games. My stats in average, hr, 2b, runs scored, strikeouts, and walks are pretty close to the mlb averages for me and the computer. I still play with all settings that are on the first page just allstar default for all sliders. If your struggling give it a try.

Hey Armor & Sword, I wanted to give u a quick virtual high five on your slider set. Your slider set is fantastic, the only change I make is I move the pitch speed slider down to 3(I hate to admit it but my reflexes aren't what they use to be @ my advanced age).

You really need to try the Hybrid quick counts set with pitch speed at 3 and keep contact and power at 5 instead of what I have there.

You will get walks (turn off check swing appeals to enhance walk frequency as well) and you will mash more.

Let me know how that goes.

Played my first game with the changes.

Beat the Marlins 3-0. Had 8 hits including 2 doubles and a home run. Walked twice and struck out 4 times.

Hi Armor and guys ... I too use these sliders and they are great !! My pitching has been great,but my hitting not so great... I have been reading some recent posts here,so I lowered pitch speed to 3 from 5 ... It definitley helped... I still strikeout a little too much,and I could use 1 or 2 runs and 1 or 2 more hits per game though. If I wanted a small adjustment for lowering my batting strikeouts,and a few more hits / runs per game....I saw someone posted maybe increase HUM Timing from 5 to 6 ?? Or maybe HUM Contact from 5 to 6 ?? Any help out there would be great !!!! If anyone has good results or thoughts with Timing or Contact at 6 , it would be of help !!!!

Increase human timing one click to 6 first and see if that does the trick. If not...up human contact to 6 in conjuction with timing.

If anyone is having issues hitting I would suggest trying out one of the zoom hitting camera's. I am currently using catcher zoom and it has helped me out a lot with recognizing breaking pitches and the dreaded change up. Give it a try and see how it goes.

I second this... I had trouble recognising pitches at first. 15 seems so much better than 14 and harder to hit, which is more relistic to me. I use catcher classic 2 base zoomed in custom camera. It is easier zoomed in but I found the angle has a lot to do with recognising sinking type pitches. I have tried them all and found that for me it needed to be zoomed and level... Has improved not swinging at balls in the dirt.

My brother uses one of the angled ones which is cool for seeing the break but I can not tell where sweeping pitches are gonna end up... Though I will say the angled one is easiest one to not chase pitches low or high. The away slider or sweeping curve eats me up in that view, though my bro handles them...

I would like to try the Catcher Zoom options but I hate that you don't get to see much of the field when you are at the plate.

Catcher Zoom 3 is $$$$ for me.

What I like about it is that the strike zone takes up a good portion of your viewing area which I feel helps to lay of pitches if it's not right in the center of your TV. Also if you see it coming in low just don't swing. You'll definitely need to adjust to the high pitches though. It will look way high coming in but it's actually on the upper part of the strike zone.
