I am also having the same problem, lack of home runs. Not just from me but from the CPU has well. Even had power at 7 for course and just gave up a ton of doubles and just two hone runs over 6 games.

That's actually not bad. 2 in 6, that's pretty realistic. Also, it depends on the team you have and the batters taking them yard, too.

what would be the real number for power becuz miguel only pop up or mayb single is it like 6 or 7 and is it 7 for both cpu and human for power or just human

Playing with the Reds, Neil Walker and Yadier Molina we're the two to hit the home runs. I had just two home runs as well...all four between us we're all solo shots too.

Meant to say had power for CPU at 7...not course. Sorry.

so im just wondering up the power to 7 or 6 idk what power tha cpu would work?or lower baserunner or fielders speed and tha pitch control on human i hit tha corner most of the time maybe move it back to 3 to be more realistic

Need some info here guys, auto fielding seems to be just awful in the outfield. In 3 months of play I have seen 2 diving catches and about 10-15 misses which lead to either an inside the park homerun or a triple.... I feel there is something a miss when the AI cannot seem to land a diving catch ever.

i was having this same issue but mine main issue was tha cpu always diving and catching tha ball takin away with what should've been a hit. Don't get me wrong I don't mind if it happened once in awhile but i was seeing it a lil to often in a single game. So what I did was lower fielder reaction one click down. I tried this for about 10 games and it did help a lil but it still wasn't quite where i wanted it so i lowered it one more click. Since then I haven't seen it nearly as much but i still see tha occasional dive catch(which i don't mind). So try that and see if that helps.

Thank you! Finally, somebody else is having this issue. I am a realistic sim player, but this has been driving me nuts. Yes, I understand that I won't hit home runs every game, but the lack of power so far is driving me crazy. So many power hitters are just popping out. Any advice?

I play as the cubs and I was having this issue too. Then all of a sudden Rizzo and Bryant have started raking. They are still off the pace they should be on but are starting to really drive the ball. Like Rizzo is up to 4 home runs now in my franchise and I am on May 21st. IRL Rizzo has 8 as of today

I don't know if its because I have gotten better at picking good pitches to swing at or if they are just heating up.

It's probably a combination of both.

The beauty of this game is the grind. Being able to endure slumps and ride high when your on a streak.

It truly is a game that rewards playing 162.

best thing to do is don't panic. playing as the Pirates, McCutchen only had 3 HRs at the end of may. suddenly he caught fire in june and now has 14 HRs as of the first week in July. like A&S said, the game rewards playing 162. the ups and downs come with it....just try to enjoy the ride

I went back to playing full games recently (not quick counts). Nice change of pace and I love it of course.

I will probably stick with playing full games half of the time since the advent of Y2Y saves. I am in no rush to play through seasons as I can just keep carrying them over to the next iteration of The Show each year.

However as always The Show gives me options. So if I am in the mood to play a 3 game series inside of 2.5 hours....I will toggle on Quick Counts!

Definitely have to stick with Quick Counts myself this year. My wife gave birth to a baby girl on Monday and we also have a 3 year old boy running around. Quick Count games are fantastic for that reason alone. Especially if I want to try and get a game in before bed.

I agree. I have tried using QC to speed up the game and hopefully get through a few seasons, but with QC, I just feel rushed and hard to read. So I in turn went back to full games. Just a more natural feel for me. Im looking more at quality then quanity of games.

Anyone know of any good resources on succeeding at pitching and hitting with these sliders? I'm horrible no matter which team I use. I need some help!
