We were able to get Wieters, and have a few more targets to wrap up free agency.

Streaming offseason for a bit now.

What does 6 then 8 then 10 mean for manager hook?

Read what it says in bold in the first post right below that slider

The only bold I see is for the numbers, not explaining when to change them. I get its for simming but is 10 for simming or is 8 or 6

Using these sliders in my RTTS, and on August 8th I've been called up to the Rangers who drafted me 3rd overall. The only change I use in RTTS is directional hitting turned on, and I also don't adjust the sliders for pitching stamina and hook.

We're facing King Felix, and unfortunately I'm the DH against righties.

I'll stream this first game in its entirely to celebrate the occasion.

It's almost March, and I'm excited to see a trade frequency slider added into franchise mode.

Can't wait to hear what else is unveiled for franchise tomorrow!

If anyone wants to talk sliders/settings leading up to release, I'd love to hear your input!

I'm really interested to see everything they are adding this year to my favorite mode. It looks from the sound of it that they will be overhauling the offseason and how transactions occur (by far the biggest problem with the mode). I'm hoping to see some major changes to the front office function but we shall see. I'm truly excited for all the changes as it looks like they are completely overhauling all the "old" code from the stone ages of 07,08, etc...

My guess is that next year... especially with how advanced the tech they were using in the photo shoots in spring training this year were, that they are aiming for a complete graphic overhaul in player models next year for '17.

                      Hey Mike Lowe,

I downloaded your sliders from the vault "Mike Lowe (HOF OS Sliders) I was wondering why there was no adjustment to the base runner steal frequency?

I use a player lock for my created player in Franchise mode and my teammates never steal.

In options there is a "Base running decisions" Auto or Assist but I am not sure which one I should have selected since I am using player lock.

I am trying to turn the Brewers into a fast/small ball bunting team. So when Eric Young Jr and other fast players get on base they are on the move but no steals through 9 innings and the player ratings are pretty high in Speed,Steals and BR Aggressiveness. I also watch all pitches and all innings playing SS.

                      Any help appreciated.

that's a slider you can freely adjust to your liking, but I was seeing too many ridiculous hit and run attempts when raising it which is why I left it there.

Baserunning decisions will only affect players you control, so if you're on player lock, AUTO will handle it all for you, and assist will still do things for you unless you override the decision(s) ahead of time.

I have not messed around with player lock, but if it's anything like RTTS, that mode doesn't produce the most realistic results when seeing the action live like that. For instance, the AI will strikeout far too often.

                          Thanks for the reply!

Interesting point about the player lock and the CPU striking out so much. I stopped playing RTTS because I felt the team depended on me too much even though I was not the highest rated player on the team like everyone would ground out or strike out before me and wait for me to make the big play.

I still feel this when playing player lock in Franchise mode but not as much. I was actually trying to avoid it by setting up a speed team to score more often.

Prior to finding your sliders I was playing on HOF default what I like about your slider set so far is that the CPU outfielders don't seem to run down every shot hit to the outfield. I actually had my first double with out it getting ran down or been on the "Beginning" setting. I'll continue to play and see how it goes.

Right now I've got baseball fever excited about the new stats feature in MLB 16 hoping it carries over created player's with player lock stats over. It would be cool too see my AA and AAA stats. I have been playing with year to year saves since MLB 14.

I mean, player lock is a cool feature, but that might be overreacting a bit.

what do you think of the low RISP batting averages ?

I complained to Russell Ramone for years and then they fixed it and now it appears to be ****ty again. also, when a runner is on second base with zero outs or one out, and a ball is hit to the right side of the infield for an out, the runner does not advance to third base. this is total BS and needs to be corrected.
