I'm playing with WTNY's realism roster with your sliders , I need more offense for user and CPU. What sliders should I adjust first?

How many games have you played? What stats are standing out to you compared to the rest of the simulated MLB world?

I decided I'm going to try a second 162 game season for 2015, but this time taking what I feel would have been the most realistic team to have hired a new GM before Opening Day, the Atlanta Braves.

The Braves brought in Jon Hart on an interim basis IRL, and he was behind their moves including moving Heyward and Kimbrel. He's a bit higher up in the chain of command than a GM, and I'm entering this franchise with the understanding that I was hired to continue the job he laid the groundwork for which is rebuilding the Braves.

3 year deal with just a $90M budget. My yearly goal is to finish .500, and my contact goal is to reach the postseason.

I'm going to try and use a limited 30 team control this time to handle some of the deadline trades and ensure pitching rotations stay legitimate at the MLB level.

I'm planning to play Opening Day at Miami later today...after my dentist appointment!

Going to get a few innings in before I have to leave. Streaming now!

I've also just added some players to the trade block for the four teams ready declaring 2015 a rebuilding year (MIN, LAA, PHI, and our Braves).

Im also using the Braves as my NL team, along with the Indians. Im playing 2 team control. Im having a blast playing with the Braves. Its a great time and a lot of fun. I think I have to much invested in the Indians (being my favorite team) so its a little more personal when they play bad. The Braves however, I can go free thinking because I dont know the team as well.

What rosters are you using. I want to start up but I feel being a year behind is problematic if I use the real deadline rosters.

I'm using a version of OSFM 2.1 that has updated 40 man rosters and CL for all teams and levels at the start.

I then simulate the preseason (using my injury slider) to generate some injuries around the league before Opening Day.

Definitely recommend using a roster from Opening Day.

Stream up in 2 mins to finish game 1!

Do you have a file name for the 40 man opening day?

Mike, congrats on getting through your season...

Have never made it myself, WAY to slider OCD & start over constantly!

Anyway, how did your player stats play out over the 162? Seems like SB's came to easy across the board with almost every slider set I've seen?

                          Thanks in advance...

It's up on the Community shared sliders. It's pretty popular, and I think the name mentions that it has updated 40 man rosters and closers for all levels.

I loved my stats, minus Miguel Cabrera having an awful career-low year. Other than that, it really surprised me. I was expecting to get fed up with SOMETHING I was seeing by June, but this slider set even gets the HBP accurate which is tough to balance.

We did lead the league in steals, but we're 3rd or 4th in SB%. Having Rajai Davis and Anthony Gose help land some steals. Gose lead MLB but still was successful "only" about 83%. As a team we were around like 78% I think.

Good luck with the Braves! As I've mentioned, they are my franchise team as well. We have some pretty decent starting pitching, but power is definitely not a strength. Playing situational baseball is your best bet at scoring runs with this team.
