Also, and it may just be placebo, but there may be something to simulating games one by one that leads to more realistic pitcher usage.

Time to finish this White Sox series. Stream is up.

Tigers blew a save in the 9th of my last game only to win it in the bottom of the inning on a 2-run HR by Cabrera, his second HR of the game.

What did I have manager hook and AI SP stamina at before this week? 6 and 7, right?

Made some adjustments in bold. Seems this will work the best.

Also turned off pitcher confidence as I think this refers to just the visual above pitches (which I have off anyway).

Also increased fielding error by 1 for IF (more fielding errors).

And for those keeping score, that's back to back blown saves for Joe Nathan; this one we could not recover from.

It's now September 25th, we have 9 games left to play, and we're 5 games back of a playoff spot. Ugh.

Hot NOTE here..... go through player stats. Look at RP's through out the league. See how many of them have game starts. Ive been simming some different sliders and I've noticed (through multiple sims) Teams are starting RP's. In player stats, go to pitchers, first column is games, then look at RP's and 4th (i think) column over you will see GS. All this may be mute point. It looks like when a starter is injured, they are putting a RP in his place. I noticed multiple teams that had that senario. Since I know you are almost finished with your season, might want to take a look at that.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
                    CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

Nope, not a moot point But yep, teams do that. That's why David Hernandez has so many IP for me--he was a "starter" for a bit for Arizona.

Still though, they aren't doing this with every RP. I will check, but I was noticing inflated IP by RP on a per game basis on more than just these guys.

Yes, moot lol. Thanks. I was lost when I wrote it.

These Reliefs that are starting have stanimas of 17 - 25. I wasnt talking about LR's or Starters playing in Relief positions. Im guessing that SP are getting injured (be it a few days) and they are swapping spots with relievers or are out for a rotation, and either not getting put back in the starting role.

This is where 30-team control is helpful. I simulate each individual game each day and will look at the pitching matchups. If I see there is a reliever getting the start, then I'll look at adjusting it. If it's a long reliever with decent stamina, I may let him go, but won't allow set-up guys or middle relievers to start games.

I'm a staunch opponent of FULL team control--I want bad trades--they are a part of the game. I just don't get into console games to that sort of degree. If you're spending that much time with The Show, you're into the wrong game--check out OOTP (and SSG Baseball!)

By the way, I played an EPIC game last night that I did not stream as my girlfriend was working on some stuff and I didn't want to distract her. We ended up winning a game that had 4 lead changes 5-4...and Joe Nathan got the save lol.

I'm with you on that. The way I run 30-team control, I pretty much have everything set to Auto for the CPU, as I am a proponent of a living league as well. I just don't like to see things like MRP and SU men starting games, so I use it to correct things like that and setting injuries to reflect rosters from Opening Day. Trades, free agency, etc are all set to Auto so that it is the living league that you enjoy as well.
