Re: Graduated Sliders: MLB The Show '15

Getting great results as my Tigers are now 2-2 working to get caught up to the real life schedule.

Had an injury to my SP last game which is nice to see finally happening in played games. Out just a couple of days.

One thing to consider doing before each game is randomizing the weather a bit. I'm not sure this is happening automatically like last year. I could be wrong.

Also saw a great AI trade--

Arizona sends SP Collmenter to Baltimore for SS Everth Cabrera. Both were needs for each team.

Just lost 15-4, giving up 7 walks, 16 hits, 3 HRs. Ouch.

I also upped AI pick off frequency to 10. Makes you really have to try steals from a default lead, but at the same time, AI still doesn't throw over too much. I was able to still get a few bigger leads, and wasn't picked off.

So far, what I see is every time CPU hit the ball, it's a Home Run. No matter what I do. Like my name Nordiques, I am more in hockey than baseball. Pitching is suppose to be Like a chess match. How can I feel that? Maybe I should take a class of baseball 101.

I was just about to post that we bounced back with a shutout win, but a run in the 8th and 2 HRs against in the 9th has us hold on to the win 7-4 to improve to 3-3.

Nordiques, try AI power at 5 and see how it feels.

You really have to bw careful pitching, which is something I love--I like having to fear/respect the AI hitters. I too have given up a lot of HRs, so if the AI is still producing at 5 power, awesome!

David Price was pitching this most recent game for me, and he pitched into the 9th inning. My bullpen gave up the 2 HRs.

I also used auto fielding this last game which was fun. Adds a lot of drama, but isn't necessary or anything in regards to the sliders--just experimenting.

I'm sure the pitcher you use make a difference too. David Price and Sanchez from Toronto, not the same result.

Just tried the Braves, with CPU power at 5. E. Stults on the mound. Johnson and Grilli on relief.

                9 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
                2 doubles, 1 triple. 1 HR

Not bad, I'll try an another one tomorrow.

Don't be afraid to throw balls out of the zone too. It helps gets guys to chase or make less contact. 5 might be too easy--that's obviously where it was to start, and it's FAR too easy to dominate the AI hitters IMO. Keep at it and see what you like though.

                      Ha, yep!

I have some other changes I'm going to give a test-run with today. Should make it more challenging, but remain fair.

You really have to be careful pitching, which I LOVE.

Updated a few sliders on the first post. Really getting a variety of results--I can lose giving up 15 runs one game, but then have a starter in Anibal Sanchez who's yet to give up a run in 2 starts.

                        Tigers are now 5-3.

My next game I'm going to lower AI pitching consistency 1 and raise their accuracy 1. I'm drawing plenty of walks (currently 5th in MLB), but we're the only team yet to be hit by a pitch. I should have seen at least one by now.

If it goes well, I'll update the first post.

Last night, real life MLB Blue Jays got 5 HR in the game. Power at 6 is good. Lol

Did you try Legend on fielding? Since it is button. Analog or accuracy I would understand, to me I'm using auto fielding and I select the throw. Maybe you can tell me but I don't see any difference between levels.
