I'd love to watch your game today but running low on data at the moment. However just wanted to pop in and say I've gone back to directional hitting, I'm just not a zone hitting guy guess I never will be.

I did make a minor change of lowering human timing down to 4 and it has seemingly helped my offense a bit the past 5 games. Problem is except for the last game almost all my runs are coming via the long ball. I did put up 10 in the last game though with only 4 coming via the long ball so.

I was contemplating after another 10 15 games or so if the trend continues maybe raising timing back to 6 and upping solid hits to 6? I seemingly don't get a lot of hard hit balls on the base set.

What you think?

I'm going to stay as a solo project for now bud, but thanks for the offer. In reality, any slider set that's being discussed is already a good group project--one of the reasons I stress to always check your own stats/output in this set.

Mike, are you tracking missed % by pitches thrown / misses, or by strikes thrown and missed?

It's the percentage of swings that leads to either misses or strikeouts. That should average out to be about 20% per team per game, but obviously you'll have some variety game to game.

Hey man curious as to how most of the runs you're allowing are coming on? While the CPU does score on hits on me I feel they're hitting a bit too many hrs(still to early to be sure). Almost through the first month and I'm tied for 30th in the majors with 30 hrs given up. I'm not pitching horrible but it does feel like the CPU is connecting on a few to many.

I'd say the opposite for me. I give up runs on rallies, doubles with runners on base, and yes, the homerun as well. Through a month of the season, I believe I'm ranked 15th in HRs against.

I think I've used power swing maybe once in two years. Contact I'll use sometimes, but rarely.

How do you get around the SP CG/SO 'glitch'?

A lot of simming one game at a time, saving often, and reloading if you start seeing more than about 10 CGs in a given full month during a season.

Picking my Twins franchise backup this weekend. We're 11-16 in the early part of May, yet only a game out of first in the division as the Central is struggling.

To avoid the overflated CG/SO stats, you should backup your save if you're seeing more than one shutout per week, per league. You should not be seeing more than a total of 10 SO each month, about 5 per league per month.
