Making one last change to human power now down to 3. Loving the results of this current set. First post updated!

Just had back to back to back doubles! I'm loving this new set--less power is giving us way more hit variety.

I also uploaded v7.7 to the vault last night.

Sounds like you lean more toward zone than directional hitting - correct? If so, do you move the "bat cursor" around or just keep it in the middle?

        Thanks in advance!

dowie, the best answer I can give you is that it's all of the above. I'm always adjusting my approach based on each pitch of every at bat, and I'm always looking to make excellent contact, otherwise I try not to swing.

I'll also say, mix in a comprehensive and confident understanding of the strike zone and pitch recognition. Find a simple mantra and stick to it. For instance, "look fastball, react to breaking ball." And then lay off the junk.

            Mike Lowe...

I didn't know you were still at it?

After giving your 1st set a run (a bit too difficult), I resorted back to default HOF sliders & was seeing what you were seeing... not enough extra base hits while seeing NO DOUBTERS hit by literally everyone.

Have you heard anything on how similar "2016" & "2017" sliders will be, if at all? I'd like to start testing these/your adjusted sliders & get the jump on "2017"... I never really settled in on a slider set last season.

No insider info here. We know the ball reacts off the bat more realistically, so we might be able to allow for the game to produce more 2Bs organically, versus needing to manipulate the fielder speed. But to me, things feel great, so I might just take the little bump in 2Bs as we still might need it, honestly.

REALLY enjoying power @ 3. Was so tired of hearing MV "And there's a SWING... Oh man... That one was a moon shot..."

last question (until "2017" drops) Which camera angle are YOU using? I may need to drop pitch speed with the camera angle I'm using...

                Thanks again!

I'm using the one that's called something like "Show 2015." It's not as zoomed out as the fisheye, and definitely helps with reading pitches better. I also feel it's the most realistic representation of 66'6", not these ridiculous zoomed in modes use to dominate online lol.

Millenium's post-SDS-vlogs are so good, but if anyone's around now, I'm going to stream my next Twins franchise game as a lead-in to today's big franchise reveal.

Come on in and chat about the Show if you'd like!

Stream will be on my YouTube channel linked in my signature, and I should be live in a few minutes.

Absolutely. I'm actually playing the beta right now for OOTP 18, and about to start a new season!

I've posted sliders for Show '17. Still tweaking AI power some, but the rest seemed to have transferred quite well.
