I have heard from many people they use meter pitching and get great results.

As far as blowing fastballs by Machado and Davis etc.....ha ha ha, that is why we pitch on HOF now. Not as easy to do and I have done it (when set up perfectly) but sometimes they send it out of the park into the parking lot!

I have not heard that 10th win bug either since 1.06. maybe it is fixed. Hopefully I find out tonight as I begin my home stand vs The Royals.

I use meter pitching and I bumped CPU pitcher control and consistency down 1 for each. So instead of 2-3 it's 1-2. Works amazing for me! Stroman 3.03 era, happ 4.29, lirinano 5.34, Estrada 2.96 and Latos 2.74 (3 starts pitching very well). Sanchez has a mid-late 3 era but on the DL currently.

I had a 72 overall rated SP (Matzek - signed as FA) and he gave up 4 runs on 5 innings. Bullpen are all looking as they should except Loup who hasn't allowed a run in 20 innings!!

I used the OP settings for pitching at first but switched for a month or so now and loving the results.

Hey armor,

I Don't know what game these guys play, complaining about all the power or can't do this or do that....let me tell you something I've been following you for years cause we are the same play style and everything your that guy that gets me....I think we are both in our 40's and have boys that love baseball....anyway, I have always praised your sliders, but this year bouncing between all-star and hof....omg!!!

Example, new franchise Seattle using hog pitching and all star hitting:

game 1 L 1-4
Game 2 L 6-16
Game 3 L 1-4
Game 4 L 1-11 Astros swept the series
Game 5 L 5-14
Game 6 W 5-0

THese sliders are EVIL!!!!!!! Are you working so voodoo magic... my record mirrors the real Mariners at the time...my pitching is getting destroyed like the real Mariners....

I'm getting so mad, just like I do with the real team I scream at the TV and play my bench players....LMAO

Man just have to say man, is do what you do love these new changes you got going on and love how you don't fold to the masses keep up the great work and I will keep playing them until I'm blind in both eyes and arthritis in my hands...

Holy moly... I love this game. 9th innings 2 2 vs the orioles down to my last out and I pinch hit with Steve Pearce coming in for Ryan Goins (he picked up a knock just before the game started) and his 1st pitch I hit a grand slam to make it 6 2! Bring in osuna to close the game out. I was punching the air!

Armor, i bumped pitching to HOF and its such a huge difference! the hit variety from the CPU is flawless now... its not just a HR fest as they were nickle and diming me to a 4-3 loss. great job... also i havent really read through it too much, but do you think the bullpen usage or warmup "issue" is that major of a deal by the cpu? i noticed last night they were struggling to decide who to put up in the pen but from the 6th inning on they constantly had 2 guys up and throwing

Suddenly my pitching staff has forgotten how to pitch. After I lumped up the Red Sox 11-2 I have since lost my next 3 by a combined score of 30-7. Starting pitching has been abysmal and every relief pitcher I bring in just seems to toss another can of gas into the fire. Just finished up an 11-4 loss to the Orioles as CC barely made it through the 5th with 97 pitches. Hitting a rough few games against Boston and Baltimore after winning 2 of 3 against the Pirates. This is where HOF pitching really shines, facing good hitting teams with power. I've had to run the AAA shuttle back and forth with fresh arms for my bullpen.

It is not a major issue or game breaking, but it is so easy to manage doing the team select thing in the pause menu.

I am going to bubble this up to a dev and see if they can look into it for a the next update.

Armor, I just don't have the control you do with classic pitching. I want to give my HUM pitcher a bump. Would you suggest bumping (for me personally, not for your set)3 - 3, 3 - 4 or even 4 - 4 (might be to much) for a little more control? I get that I wont always hit my mark, but I am having way to many way off the mark pitches. Its consistent though, whether its my Ace or my #5. I think the problem is me. I'm looking to still make mistakes but be a little more consistent when pitching.

My time is running shorter this cycle with so much Travel baseball stuff with my son.

I had to find a way to play faster without sacrificing cut scenes etc.

Quick counts is tuned so much better since it's debut on 14.

I may be going back to that exclusively and then full counts in the post season.

I have so many rosters and files I want to enjoy. This is a great way to do that.

Can get in 2 games in the same amount of time as one full count game.

I would suggest going consistency 4 control 3. Try that out for 7 to 10 games

Quick Counts is a parent's best friend. It's the only way I have time to play the Show between putting kids to bed and watching The Phillies (which thankfully started Online Streaming this year so I can double up.)

LOL, I do the same thing. I have the Indians on the tablet next to me while I play as the Indians in MLBTS. MLB package has been worth every penny for the last 3 years I have been getting it.
