Is there a way to check? I didn't realize this was a fix. I didn't look at the notes. Normally, I start up the game and it automatically downloads patches, correct? I don't know why this one wouldn't automatically download. Happy to know at least they attempted to address it even if it still isn't working properly.

From your main PS4 screen, highlight Show 17's icon and press the Options button. Scroll down to update history and that should tell you what version you're on.

Well after starting 0-4 against Minnesota, as some of you saw in the stream, my bullpen blew a 4-2 lead in route to a 7-4 loss to push my head to head record with Minnesota to 0-5. Next game wasn't looking all that promising with a young Ariel Miranda on the mound but he managed to work his way around disaster (mainly because Minnesota doesn't have a lot of threats in the lineup). With the score tied 2-2 I managed to chip away and score a run to make it 3-2 before adding another in the top of the 9th to make it 4-2. I brought in the only fresh reliever in the pen, my closer Edwin Diaz who had been lights out to date. He proceeds to strike out the first and then everything that could go wrong did, bloops, singles perfectly placed etc. I managed to strike the next guy out with runners on 1st and 2nd. Diaz then decided to make matters worse by walking the bases loaded. I managed to escape with a lazy fly out to end the game and thus my 5 game losing streak to Minnesota.

I need Cruz and Cano back badly. The offense is hitting for a solid average most nights but has nobody truly capable of driving in runs outside of Seager. I've scored a total of 10 runs in the last 3 games, all against Minnesota, and it isn't like they have a world class rotation.

Danny Valencia will be back for the next game but he won't start against RHP so outside of pinch hitting late in the game he won't make an immediate difference. Robinson Cano will be back next (1-6 days) and then Nelson Cruz (1-2 weeks) and I can't wait as it feels like it's been an eternity since I had a healthy lineup. My record currently sits at 38-29 and 2 games back of Los Angeles for the division.

Gonna stream a game now, (37-28) Seattle at (31-32) Minnesota. Sliders are identical to OP other then pitch speed is at 7/9.

Boy, if you want these sliders to be even harder, up the pitch speed. I put both at 7 and I'm struggling big time. Fourth game with 7 pitch speed and I finally made some good contact.

We very well may be moving reliever stamina up to 4 or even default 5.

Further testing is required. But it seems like they are tiring a little too quick post patch 1.07.

Need to play more games to pin point it and make sure.

I mentioned this before but I feel all errors at 7 is pretty good. It doesn't feel like a circus to me. And I've had the reliever stamina slider at 4 since the beginning. At three, guys would be tired and barely thrown any pitches.

Also, listening to the MLB network broadcast with the Red Sox, somebody scored on a wild pitch and the announcer goes, "How often have we seen that the last week?"

I think we were spoiled in the past with the cat like reflexes of the catchers. Does it happen too often in this video game? Perhaps. But it sure beats the cat like reflexes and forces you to pitch smart with runners on.

Funny how we've all adjusted things to our liking and tinkered here and there, but other than fielder reaction and speed (which, in my opinion is an absolute mess and maybe has something to do with the field size or something), I notice I'm adjusting things closer to default. That says something.

"Options" is what was formerly known as the Start button pre-PS4. On the controller.

Yup. On 1.07. I went back to the box scores and it happened three times in a row. ONLY against the Braves. No idea what that means. Maybe some weird glitch with the Braves. No clue. But to be honest I don't remember ever experiencing this until this past week, AFTER they apparently patched it. Each time they put in Kurt Suzuki to pinch hit and replaced the catcher with Santana. Weird.

Only time it ever happened to me was with the Braves too! But the 1996 Braves!!

I've actually upped mine a while ago. Some of my relievers were taking 2-3 days to fully recover after only one inning of work. And I was seeing long relievers with decent stamina get gassed after throwing only around 25-30 pitches.
