How does the pitching feel with fastballs at 5 and offspeed at 7? I'm going to give it a shot tonight and my only concern is not having enough user strikeouts to be realistic. Are you guys finding you still strike out?

      I certainly do strike out.

But again I strongly believe pitch speed is a user preference slider so do what you feel is beat for your enjoyment with those two sliders

Yeah I'm really comfortable with every setting right now except two things. I just need to figure out what pitch speed and batting camera is best for me.

Pitch speed is giving me a headache. I can't decide between 6/7, 7/7, or 8/10. I can't settle on a batting camera either and keep switching between retro, MLB 15, and offset zoom

Definitely, just hadn't played with the settings different before. I settled on 7/7 last year and enjoyed it but I'm having a hard time getting around on FB at that setting this year. I'm going to give 5/7 a shot.

Much love on the sliders man, they're great year after year...

I'm going to run with 5/7 for now, maybe 6/7.

Sounds like you may be looking for a similar view to the one I use. Here's how I configured mine: Go into a exhibition game at the Arizona ST stadium and use a player on the taller side, say 6-2 or 6-3. I start with Catcher High and move the left stick until the top of the strike zone aligns with the top of the batter's eye. From there, you can zoom in or out to your liking. I played around with that last night and enjoyed it. It seems to "center" the strike zone on the tv. Hope that makes sense, lol. Give it a shot...

I use offset zoom and I'm a big fan.

tbh I wish it wasn't offset (as I find I'm still misaligned about an inch inside on the strike zone so I get jammed a little to much and take basically everything on the outer black), but normal zoom isn't close enough and since you can't use custom cameras online figure I'll just get used to it.

Going to do a fantasy draft later on tonight and use your slider set. Will play the first series and will post my impressions. Thanks for your hard work!

I would recommend going into Batting Practice and trying the different speeds and camera angels. I did that and it helped me settle into both a camera and speed.

Version 1.0 is official. It is now on the OP!!!

We also fully endorse these for CPU vs CPU and Road To The Show.

The things we are keeping our eye on as we continue to get deeper and deeper into our test seasons is pitcher stamina and of course keeping an eye on HR’s which totals look great. But we all know the distances are over the top. I truly believe it is not a slider cure. It is a Showtrack algorithm mathematical type thing going on under the hood.

But I really don’t let it bother my incredible enjoyment of this amazing game. The HR’s are a blast to hit.

Armor: are you loading the sim/quick manage set to sim the CPU games in ur franchise and loading the gameplay sliders for your user games? I think I recall that being the process last year to get accurate Sim stats
