As of right now Schwarber is on pace for 67 home runs, Rizzo, 51, and Bryant 39. All of those (even though Schwarber's is a stretch), are at least believable.

Additionally, I'd be surprised if he continues his pace, but maybe he will. Who knows? I may turn my power down a notch, but again, I'd rather live with a little higher home run totals with more doubles than I would more realistic home runs but no doubles.

Where do you guys stand in total home runs in your franchises as well as doubles?

What are your CPU pitching sliders at?

As for where I stand I'm #1 in HR's and bottom 5 in doubles. I've played 30 games of my franchise having played every single pitch, no QC's, and I've got 42 doubles and 54 HR's. I started using a 4-5-5 setup last game which wasn't too bad as the CPU wasn't able to paint the corners like previously when I had it at 5-5-5. I've also got wind at 3, last game at Seattle there was zero wind and the CPU and I still managed to hit 5 HR's combined, I hit 0 doubles but the CPU hit 5. My doubles have always been on the low side but I have zero idea how to bring those figures up and may just have to deal with it going forward.

This year has been the hardest for me to figure out when it comes to the CPU pitching sliders, I've tried Armor's 4-5-3 as well as 5-5-5, 5-4-5 and 4-5-5 and each one seemed to do one thing well and another thing poorly.

You guys use sponsorships in your franchise? I didn't assign any to my team or the computers but wondering if I should?

Well, in absolutely heartbreaking news I lost Nelson Cruz for 1-2 months with a fractured arm and with it my entire offense. It will be impossible to replace the following stat line...

        45/120 (0.375 Average) - #1 on team
        26 Runs (#1 on team)
        45 Hits (#1 on team)
        13 HR's (#2 on team)
        39 RBI's (#1 on team)
        0.449 OBP (#1 on team)
        0.750 Slugging (#2 on team)
        1.117 OPS (#1 on team)
        16 BB's (#1 on team)
        6 Doubles (#2 on team)
        90 TB's (#2 on team)
        2.3 WAR (#1 on team)
        0.450 ISO (#1 on team)
        40.4 RC (#1 on team)

I have no idea how to replace that production, there is absolutely no way to replace it without trying to make a big trade and the Mariners don't really have the pieces in the minors to do it with. I'm sitting at 18-13 and 0.5 game up on the Angels but my season just went under as I don't have the staff to keep games low scoring consistently and now my offense has no shot of scoring enough runs to try and make up for it. The kicker is Cruz and his 92 durability rating got hurt scoring a run when there wasn't even a play at the plate, talk about a complete fluke injury.

That is awful! Allow me to make a suggestion! In my baseball universe, I won't allow certain guys to get injured for a long period of time. If this happens, I put on injuries to manual. Let's say Cruz ripped up his MCL and ACL or something in your season. I would put injuries to manual and change it to a sprained knee so he's only out for like two weeks. Make sure you put injuries back to auto after you switch his injury. So you still have that injury effect but just not as long! And I don't feel like I'm cheating too bad that way haha. I only have this philosophy for superstars.

(Totally in good humor) That is a HORRIBLE idea lol. That is totally cheating. Superstars get injured. Its apart of baseball. This is where being a manager comes into play. Work through it. Bunt, hit and run, get the other guys to play more aggressive. Manage more aggressively.

LOL I would never have that. Totally get your point though. I play as the Mets and it really only applies to Cespedes, Syndergaard, and DeGrom. Anybody else and I allow the injury. For me, I want to make sure I play with these guys. The game wouldn't be fun otherwise. I want to manage, but not totally at full throttle lol.

I just finished a series against the Mets with the Braves..... Let me tell you, I wish Syn was injured for the whole d@#n season lol. Hate being at the other end of that guy. Especially with Armor's aggressive (to me. Dont play as well as Armor does ) cpu set up.

Reading all these post everyone is talking about hitting a ton of home runs and then some are not hitting enough double...for me it the complete opposite, I know small sample size, through 6 games as the Rockies I've only hit 2 home runs and leading the league in doubles with 15...am I doing some thing wrong here?

All my sliders match the OP and I'm not seeing it so far, maybe as I continue through the month of April I'll see more power but right now I'm seeing ton of singles and perfect amount of doubles.

Sitting here thinking about it, the only thing I don't do is swing influence I just hit X or ⏹ depending on the count and who's up rarely hit O unless it a speedster that is lite hitting then I try to use his speed.
It's all about the man Hammer'n Hank...

Haha, thinking outside the box for sure but I, in good faith, couldn't do that. If I did that then I'd feel like I had to go around doing it for every team otherwise it's an extreme unfair advantage and takes away from the unpredictability of playing a 162 game season.

I wish it was that easy, without Cruz my lineup is absolutely dreadful against LHP, Cruz was the only thing that made it remotely competitive and even it was difficult. I'm also missing Valencia and Zunino so if it wasn't for signing Liddi out of free agency at the start of the season I'd have an entire lineup vs LHP without a single guy with 70+ contact, as it stands its only Liddi and thats it. As for bunting more, I'd try that were it not for the rocket bunts, **** half my bunts appear to come off the bat like they do when Cruz launches one into the stands (exaggerating for effect obviously) but it makes small ball extremely difficult to do. I mean, you tell me, what type of lineup is this lol....

                    Jarrod Dyson
                    Jean Segura
                    Robinson Cano
                    Mitch Haniger
                    Kyle Seager
                    Alex Liddi
                    Leonys Martin
                    Taylor Motter
                    Carlos Ruiz

There isn't a pitcher on this planet that would look at that lineup and worry lol. Pitch around Seager and Cano and make the other cans actually do something, I can see my offense scoring half the runs they did before unless Seager just goes on a tear and challenges Bonds HR record.

Anyways, getting off topic obviously but when Cruz went down I about puked in my mouth and after looking at my lineup post Cruz I did puke in my mouth so had to share my unfortunate turn of events.

I decided to do the bump tp HoF in both Pitching and Hitting, I have to say I like the challenge on both side, in two games I havent been able to hit a Homerun but have got a doubles and hits , before this year I was strict Zone HoF/Meter HoF player but i wanted the change to a screen with less thing on it, Im ceratin that I was hiiting a lot of Homers because it was too easy for me on AllStar, but I also dont want to not be able to hit Homers, I moght switch back to Directional hiting again.

So simply turn down your injury slider on your slider set if you plan to QM a game and whenever you sim any games on the calendar and if you employ 30 team control (which I highly suggest) make sure before you sim the day's scheduled games to turn that injury slider down to 5. After you complete your game....before you advance the day again turn down the injury slider to 5 because sometimes your minor league games have yet to be played.

Also let's say you are in a QM game and want to jump in. When you do...turn that injury slider back to 8 so you have a chance at in-game injuries like we tested in real games. Injury slider at 8 during games you play gives you the nice random chance at a player injury.

Hey Armor. I had sworn off slider changes in 15, but thought I'd give these a go-round and they're great. My compliments to you and the guys you worked with. One question, just for my clarification. Now that you've consolidated slider sets, with injuries being the only adjustment between gameplay and QM/Sim, am I to understand that the SP stamina should remain what it was on the gameplay set (Human 6, CPU 7)?

I asked him this on one of his streams yesterday and he said yes leave starter stamina at 6 for human and 7 for cpu when simming/quick managing games. Only change is injuries at 5 when simming

By the way, stealing has become extremely frustrating since the switch, now Jarrod Dyson and his 98 speed and 99 steal ratings can't even steal off of a 86mph slider outside. I don't expect to steal everytime but since the change I've gone 1/4 in steals and it isn't like I'm being dumb about it and hoping for the best. Before the switch I was 15/19 only running with Dyson, Martin and Segura and since, like I said, 1/4. How are others steal numbers looking?

By the way, noticed your Saints icon. As a resident of San Diego who now finds himself unsure of who to root for this fall, I'm leaning toward the Saints. Always loved Drew Brees since he was here. Now with the addition of AP (I'm an OU guy), they will be an easy team to support.
