I even went to no ball marker and no vibration, but still...I would mow down the CPU with relative ease with any pitcher most of the time.

I had tried HOF last season and was getting destroyed too often.....but now I understand that this is a new level in every way. No longer can you “take a pitch off” No longer can you get away with too many mistake pitches too often.

This is exactly what the doctor ordered for me. I caution any of you who are getting great results on All-Star Classic pitching to stay right there.

But those of you who have clearly been mowing down team after team and find yourself not fearing the CPU offense anymore.

    Step right up.

But be ready. Be ready to change the way you approach batters, be willing to walk guys more, nibble the zone a lot more, and use your out pitches less often. Be ready to change up your pitching patterns the second time, third time through the order, be ready to shake off your catcher more often, choose your own locations more often.

Just be ready to work your *** off to be successful.

With all that being said here is my first beta setting for HOF pitching.

Everything is exactly like the OP except

    CPU Contact - 5 (instead of 6)

    HUM Control - 4

    HUM Consistency - 4

So here we are. A new adventure, a new era for me on The Show. I am really excited about this. The game has a fresh new feel now for me. It was time to move up my pitching level.

As far as hitting.....love where I am at with All-Star Hitting. Perfect balance and feel and not changing a thing.

Stay tuned for more updates and synopsis. And soon final human pitching values for the HOF level. It will not take me long to tune this to my skill level.

Giving this a shot later. Pitching has been getting so stale on all-star lately.

For the record I use the slider set exactly like you had it for AS and get really good results. I mean you have to pitch for sure but it feels good. I usually walk at least 2 a game sometimes more or if my pitcher is on sometimes less. You will really notice when your starter is not on with HOF but nothing like limping through 5 or 6 innings trying to minimize damage.. I'm glad you made this jump I have watched you play and I know you will love the feeling of HOF pitching like I do as we play very similar styles of the game.

Hey Armor, I noticed your camera position for pitching is over the top of your pitcher..... my broadcast camera puts me to the right of my pitcher. How do you get the view like yours, is it custom?

Wow. HOF pitching with those minor adjustments is so good. Felt great having the sinker working which allowed me to turn 3 double plays. Also riding a fastball inside and breaking bats is also very satisfying. Could be just a coincidence but I felt the hit variety was even better pitching on HOF. I think maybe the CPU's contact is more....authentic I guess I'll say, so the ball is reacting differently off the bat which is causing the hit variety. Just felt so good to get into and work my way out of trouble with Jordan Montgomery. Had to take him out with a 3-2 lead in the 6th with his pitch count in the mid 80's.

Seen some "weird" things lately in franchise. Porcello got hurt bad in the 2nd inning of a game and i had to being in someone obviously who was not warming. Rule is you get as many pitches as you want to warm up IRL. Not in this game. I had 8 pitches only and had to pitch with this guy who was only a quarter warm. Thats bull****. Needless to say, i got shellacked.

On another note, fielder reaction down to 4 is perfect.

Update on my Sox: had a 4 game skid then won 4 in a row. Went into baltimore and swept them. Funny side note is that Hanley finally hit his first HR 15 games into the season while Moreland has 6 and Bradley has 7.

Hello everyone, haven't been around much lately (first child due next week), but I wanted to post my stats through 30 games. I am using a fictional roster that has been carried over from MLB 15.

                      Team Stats
                      Batting Average .254 (18th)
                      Runs 131 (10th)
                      Hits 261 (13th)
                      Doubles 43 (26th)
                      Triples 7 (T-6th)
                      HRs 42 (2nd)
                      RBIs 130 (10th)
                      SBs 14 (T-24th)
Walks 64 (30th) Not very patient
                      Strikeouts 156 (1st)

                      ERA 3.27 (8th)
                      Saves 9 (T-12th)
                      Hits Allowed 243 (10th)
                      Runs Allowed 100 (7th)
                      HRs Allowed 26 (T-6th)
                      Walks 82 (T-3rd)
                      Strikeouts 230 (11th)

I have had a 6 game losing streak and a 6 game winning streak. Games were I blew out teams, games were I was smacked in the face. Feel free to ask me any questions (let me take some of the burden off of A&S, he does tremendous work).

They ate fully warm even though it shows cold.

Developer confirmed that for us a long time ago.

To clarify this only happens if an injury occurs to a pitcher.

Otherwise in a normal pitching change they need to be properly warmed up.

I was in that spot where AS was too easy and HOF too hard when pitching. I play at AS plus now. Trick dynamic difficulty by using All Star teams against AA teams and the dynamic slider on ten. Once you get there, drop the slider to zero and leave it. It is worth it.
