Haven't posted yet here or to the vault, but this is what I'm thinking for v1.16, patch 1.05

One correction: fielder run speed at 2, not 3.

Can't wait to try these. I figured the patch was gonna require some drastic changes

Getting closer to a v1.16 release. Here is what I'm currently testing. Let me know what you are seeing.

This game is almost broken with the amount of wild pitches. Unreal.

The one change I'm still toying with that's different than below (color orange to avoid confusion) is whether to try CPU contact at 6 or even 7, but lower their timing to 0. They take some horrid swings at 0, and I like timing at 1 for them. However, with contact higher for CPU, we may see more walks, etc. I still walk plenty of guys, and you just have to be willing to pitch to avoid too much contact. 0 timing may help offset too much contact from the CPU if we went that route.

My last game I hit 7 HRs. Yes, 7. 4 of them were hit by Stanton. That's the first time I've had a game like that this year, and they do happen, so I'd be curious as to what others are seeing too. Even with that game (a result of too many hits leaving the yard), I still had too low of a BABIP.

I'm currently in the 6th inning of my franchise game against Boston. I just chased Henry Owens after belting 4 home runs off of him, 2 by Encarnacion. This is my first game with v1.16

EDIT: tacked on another HR with EE to bring his total to 3 for the game and 5 for the team. Had 2 hit near the top of the Green Monster too. Only 1 game in but every hard hit felt like a laser. Haven't been seeing that or the numerous hr's in previous version. Gonna try and test more tonight.

Lol, my batting average is near the bottom of the league and I have struggled to hit with earlier versions of the sliders. Encarnacion is putting up an MVP type season and Brantley is near the top of the league in BA. They are the only two that I am really killing it with. Santana is heating up but my other guys have low BA. I'm about 6 games above .500 going into August in my franchise. My pitching has been great and kept us competitive.

I'm playing another game now against the Yanks and I'm curious to see if I have a power surge like last game. Will report back.

Please do. We could try the orange test set, but with power at 4 and solid hits at 6 for user.

1 more game to go in the first month of my season, and stats are actually looking quite realistic.

We struggle in a few areas, but I don't lead the league in anything, and a couple I'm dead last in are correcting themselves.

I do lead MLB w 24 wild pitches. Most others are around 8 or so, with some teams as few as 2. With Realmuto out for the year, I'll be keeping my eye on the trade block for a "vacuum" quirk catcher to see if we can right the ship some. Also hoping better user pitcher consistency helps.
