Am I missing something here? Are people using the "power" button more frequent than me?

I SO want to start up another season / franchise but hit for ZERO power since this last patch hit. HATE giving that discussion any life and have been experimenting with other teams trying to rule out my power woes being more of a ME & Royals thing and I have hit a wall... Yankees, Nationals, Dodgers... NO power!

Coming off a full 162 game season should be "sample sized" enough. Don't want to start making adjustments to these sliders if I'm missing something?

Someone generating offense, PLEASE weigh in. 7-10 hits, 0-4 runs every game with NO power...

Not complaining here, CAN make adjustments... just HAVE to be sure I'm not overlooking anything before committing to another 3-4 months of playing.

Marlins beat the Mets 3-2 again in 10 innings and are now 9 games below .500 and 8 games back of the wildcard.

As for struggles w power, I rank 24th in HRs, but Stanton leads MLB w 28 on June 29th.

Marlins beat the Mets 3-2 again in 10 innings and are now 9 games below .500 and 8 games back of the wildcard.

As for struggles w power, I rank 24th in HRs, but Stanton leads MLB w 28 on June 29th.

I have no problem with power. I'm currently in the beginning of the month of April with Cleveland and I stricly using the normal contact (X on PS4). So far, I'm the 2nd teams with 50 HR and a record of 22-7 (Veteran Hitting and HoF pitching).

I swept the Tiger with 4 victory when I scored at least 6 runs (I beat them 11-5, for example), the first game of the series, I beat them after 14 innings (!) and, if I remember, I beat them 9-6 with a 3 run HR at the top of the 9th during the 4th game.

I'm using the OS Realism Roster (coupled with these sliders, this game is awesome) and directional hitting.

Appreciate the feedback. Stepping away from Mike's game settings with Veteran hitting with directional hitting is almost like playing a different game all together IMO...

Version 2.7 now up. Two small tweaks, but I think they'll help w user pitching for more Ks and less offensive onslaughts from the AI.

Made one last change for v2.8 last night. Absolutely loving the realism this set is providing!

Decided to FULLY mirror your settings & give "MLB15" camera view a shot. Had been using a slightly lower & zoomed in "retro" view but couldn't catch up to anything. The results have been NIGHT & DAY for me. SO much more time to react, lay off junk, get deeper into counts & get better pitches to drive... Just launched a 2nd decker with Bumgarner!

Went back to my preferred "Retro" camera while lowering both pitch speed sliders to 4... The game has REALLY opened things up for me w/o feeling cheapened.

You're newest tweaks have been great, too! Was hard staying motivated knowing the game was over once the AI scored 4 runs...

Despite it being football season & 2K playing so well, I'm gunna get back on the MLB17 horse & get another season in

Anyone having a issue with RPs coming with lowered energy and confidence at 0 for no reason? Even turned of warm up relievers and it still did it.
