Good morning OS Show Nation.....I am sipping on some morning Joe in the port of Miami as I await to disembark our ship.


I will be back playing this afternoon!

I have just finished reading the entire thread here and will be looking for various things mentioned in terms of human hitting post patch 1.05 as well as human pitching.

I am fairly confident between Marino and I (with Josh also giving me back some insightful feedback as well) we will lock in a great base slider set version 1.0.

I will go back to default pitch speed and work from there as well.

Great to be home. I had a fantastic vacation with my family. Felt great to be totally “unplugged” and sipping pina-coladas all week.

Back to work!! And back to playing my favorite game of all time!!!

Will post here once I start streaming some test games this afternoon.

And oh yeah.....I get to watch real baseball tonight!!!!

So playing on straight default allstar hitting hof pitching I have finished 24 games in my braves franchise. The numbers I am seeing look good and the game is playing well. I have a 280 team average I'm averaging 8.9 hits a game and 4.5 runs a game and I am ranked 11th in homeruns. As for pitching i have a 4.4 era 24th in the league. Like everyone else on the offensive side i am not striking out. (But I didn't strike out a lot last year either) I am getting caught stealing a lot. I am also drawing 3.4 walks a game so that is ok with me. As for pitching I am getting lit up if I leave the ball over the plate. When I'm painting the coners I am having success. So I'm loving that. So all and all I'm very happy with what I see and how the game is playing. I'm looking forward to seeing the adjustments you make armor. Good to have you back.

Good to see you back. The Human pitching is not fixable, at least to me. I may walk 1 per game and that’s working corners and following the API. I’ve lowered control and I’ve lowered consistency. Actually, I put consistency at 0 for a game and saw no difference. That’s a huge problem.

Pitched on Hall of Fame with Yu Darvish against the Cardinals last night. Given it was just one game but I absolutely dominated, 9 K, 8 IP only 3 hits and no runs allowed. The main problem I have is the control. I didn't walk anyone. Really didn't come close.

In past versions I always have the fewest walks allowed but it's al least within a reasonable margin. This year if the game plays or like this I'll lead by hundreds.

I use ASM game setup on the first page. Like the clean screen and challange with the catcher making the pitch calls. I get some very intense games!

Not using the ball marker definitely seems like it would increase walks issued. I may give it a shot.

It has no effect? I don't see how it could not. You're going to have to try to place a pitch (using no vibration and no visual feedback). I guess over time it might become easier but I would think that it would make pitching more difficult in general.

Pitches just drift back into the zone. Every pitcher has world record control.
