How's everyone feeling with home runs?

Took me until the bottom 8th with 2 outs in my THIRD game to finally hit my first home run of 19 (Stanton).

I do recall them saying that contact hitters would matter a lot more this year and you won't need to be as reliant on the long ball.

That has proven true so far as I've won all three games without a HR making a difference in the outcome.

Yankees vs. Red Sox (Happ vs. Eovaldi) W 1-0
Yankees @ Rays (Sabathia @ Morton) W 5-4 /10
Yankees vs. Blue Jays (Severino vs. Stroman) W 3-0

My old *** has to lower the pitch speeds. To fast for me on default. I played 18 with pitch speeds on 4

Ahh......I did fail to mention that I did make that change as well. Both fastball and off speed -1 click each from last years set. I feel you Vince on the old thing!!!

Looking forward to your sliders again this year. Although the said they upped the pitch speed offline, I am playing legend with 10 fastball and offspeed and am still pulling 98 mph fastballs.

I am running a test franchise with the 18 sliders as the Yankees. I have been impressed with home run totals. I hit four on opening day (Stanton, Judge, Voit, Sanchez). I hit none the following game and then hit one in game three (Torres).

The game plays damn well. Just waiting on the community roster and Armor’s input before I get rolling on my Orioles (Yeah I know) franchise

Appreciating the early feedback you are providing.

Something I want you guys to look at is baserunner speed.

I always check that in terms of too many infield singles.

Also errors.

Injuries simming at 6 and playing games at 9 should be money again this cycle.

From some feedback I am getting from some trusted members fielding looks to be real deal in terms of ratings really mattering even more than on 18 (which was a good starting point).

So for you guys who have been using my 18 set on HOF/HOF on 19 please give me good detailson hit variety, CPU pitching, power for both the human and CPU

Look forward to streaming and getting a great set out ASAP.

I see they need to already patch some bugs as expected. But SDS are typically very effective with their patches and get them out quick.

Also love seeing how many already feel 19 is a much more refined version of 18 but with a lot better audio and presentation.

I'm definitely seeing some infield singles and should-be double plays that the runner is beating out at first. In one case, Tulowitzki (28 speed) beat out a swinging bunt that the pitcher fielded about one-third up the 3rd base line, a few inches onto the grass.

I'm also seeing that ratings matter a lot more with defense but still seems like occasionally there have been spectacular plays made by average or subpar defenders... as if they are running to the spot of the ball before it leaves the bat... I'm seeing this more so on infield line drives rather than balls to the outfield.

Everything else with the '18 set seems smooth and perfect including stealing, errors, and CPU pitching. As I mentioned before, I have offspeed pitch speed on 5 rather than 6.

Would moving the infielder arm strength up help battle any of the unreasonable infield singles? I see where MK is saying base running speed being to low is affecting their aggressiveness.

Nice feedback. This is exactly what I need. Give me a week from this Saturday gentleman and I am confident I can have a working 1.0 out.

I am going to run a 30 team control test franchise using default out of the box rosters.
