First franchise game on '19 with your '18 sliders and I trounced the Braves 11-3.

I really capitalized on a lot of mistake pitches. Harper had 2 RBI from one hit and a walk. Hoskins was 4-5 with 2 homers and 2 doubles. Herrera hit a 3 run bomb and Realmuto hit a 2 RBI triple.

One error in the game came from an errant throw by Franco.

I'd say you need to tweak your sliders, but then again, IRL Phils just trounced the Braves 10 to 4....so pretty accurate game you had lol.

One thing I have also noticed so far is the CPU offense has been pretty bad. But I did play the Marlins 4 of my 5 games. Also I haven't seen alot of extra base hits.

I cant wait for this weekend I will be playing the show all damn weekend.

I will be using only using them batting only/High Leverage.

It will keep it fresh and I use the catchers signs 80-85% of the time and you can’t see them with those new angles.

Also I like seeing the ball thrown back to the pitcher and the hitters resetting in the box when those moments occur.

I am playing same way except I like the catcher to suggest pitch and location. The problem is frequently the pre-pitch camera when batting shows the catcher's signs. I wish those could be disabled or re-done to avoid tipping pitches. I have to look away each time that type camera appears.

They look really nice, but there are a few issues with them. Like, you can’t see your hitter’s contact and power rating against lefties or righties without pausing the game. After the first pitch of the at bat you can press the directional pad left to see them. It’s just inconvenient to not have it available for the first pitch of an at bat. And the camera while pitching has caused me to throw a poorly mistimed pitch as the camera cuts back to gameplay. Could just be me doing something out of whack though.

Interesting...I see if every time before the first pitch using directional pad. But I always have pre-pitch camera on when hitting. So perhaps that's the difference?

I am playing classic HOF pitching with default sliders, and the teams I have played, including Detroit, have had some scoring outbursts of 9 or 10 runs and have also only produced 1-2 runs. So so far it has been pretty balanced for me. But you have to pitch to corners a lot or I get blasted.

Sorry can't find quote but one person suggested lowering infield arm speed to 4. I tried that, and the animations changed dramatically. The infielders now rush throws (I use auto field) on even routine plays. As soon as I switched back to default the great, smooth animations returned. Just fyi from my experience.

Last years sliders play better on 19 than 18 from what I’m seeing. Homerun lengths are more realistic

Well inning one of my first game tonight and the offense begins. The Redsox scored 2 runs and had three doubles. Than I came up and tied it 2-2 I worked 3 walks in the inning a double and made the Sox pitcher throw 34 pitches.

The way this game sounds is amazing. And some people were saying the commentary was the same they are so wrong yes they do say alot of the same things but I have heard so many new things from 18 and I played over 300 games on 18. So freaking cool

Oh I know what you mean. I can only play this game Thursday to Monday so getting this game on Tuesday made a long 2 days.
