This feels like the best out-of-the-box gameplay in this series - and it was already really good last year, aside from the HR distance thing.
I will say this being a zone/meter player, so take it for what it's worth - The AI doesn't mess around on HOF. It is hammering a lot of what I leave over the plate. I gave up 4 runs to the Cards in the first inning of my first game, en route to an 8-5 loss. Success comes when I stay near the edges - swinging misses and strikeouts. It might be harder to make classic pitching work for you guys on HOF this year because it seems like I need to be either more precise OR more cautious. But there is a greater sense of accomplishment now when something good happens.
