I definitely seem to be falling in the, "I'm not striking out the CPU enough," boat. What are you guys doing who are seeing higher strikeouts totals?

Also, I really find myself mentally charting my pitching patterns as I go through the order a second/third time. Like using DeSclafani yesterday vs the Nats, I had Michael Taylor flailing at the slider away the first two ABs. The third AB, I went to the well one too many times and he slapped a slider away for a base hit. I cursed myself as I knew I should've gone with the el cambio as soon as he hit it.
I always look at how i am pitch and also how the CPU is pitching after the first 3 innings and try to adjust. So i look to see like what type of pitch i am pitching in different counts and location wise to but i do find and have found this to be true like ever year on default HOF at least for pitching that to often CPU will have at bats were they just refuse to strike out and will foul off pitch after pitch no matter what and end up with a like 12 pitch at bat. Its one of the things i don't like about HOF but CPU on all star is to easy to give up few hits/runs to and it is also to easy to locate pitches on all star.

This was a really close gritty pitching battle for awhile until our bats woke up later on. I had to really focus and get locked in with Kershaw.

Tyler Skaggs had to make a call-up start in this one because Arrieta strained his bicep before the game, then after 5 scoreless innings 4 no-hit, he tore his hamstring and is looking at a 2-3 month recovery time. At least Arrieta is just out a couple days.

This is the second guy to land on the 60-day DL for me in the past couple games, with Aledmys Diaz (Dislocated Shoulder) being the other.

Also I can't get Andrew Miller going in my closer's spot for nothing. He just doesn't want to command anything right now.

I’m using the Mets (so a few high K pitchers), and have CPU contact and power on 5 but everything else the same as Armour. I’m using pulse pitching with no ball marker or vibration and allowing my catcher to call the game. Gonna turn up contact to 6 and lower solid hits to 3 to see if that gives me a more balanced spread of outs.

Are most of you guys playing with the ball marker off and vibration on? That's what I've been doing and aside from possibly low strikeout totals, it all feels pretty good pitching. I'm finally walking guys.

Cool write up as always! Assuming still no changes to the sliders? I'm one of a few still feeling like pitching isn't perfect, especially on cpu strike out numbers. Are you seeing enough?

Need to fix the swing and miss for both sides. I just played a game. Computer only swung and missed 3 times and I only missed twice. That is way too few, even for pitchers who pitch to contact.

Agreed. Same as my point in the post above you. Everything feels good in terms of cpu offense except their babip is too low because they're not striking out enough!

Changes I made were... Cpu contact -5, Cpu timing-4, Cpu solid hits-5. Hum pitch control - 3. I now have no trouble with strikeouts. And Cpu also hits the ball well.

In terms of striking the CPU out, I definitely think it’s to do with contact.

Was striking out 11 batters a game (77 thru 7 games) with contact on 5 and haven’t had a single strikeout in 6 innings so far now I’ve put contact up to 6.

I know it’s an extremely small sample size, but in those 6 innings I’ve already seen way more groundouts than in any of my previous 7 games when contact was on 5.

Out of interest, what hum pitching settings do you have? 4/4 like on op?

Yeah, control and consistency both on 4.

I think contact 5 and control 3 might be the way to go...might try that later!
