Hey MK, I see you made the transition to the show too. I remember your sliders for 2k12.

I love this game except for the pass ball issue...

You literally can't have a passed ball if there isn't a runner on base. It's a scoring decision to describe how a runner advanced bases.

EDIT: Yes you can, on a third strike with bases empty (before I get crucified.)

I don't see as many balls getting away from the catcher unless runners are on base.

I have used Armor's set as my base. I absolutely SUCK at hitting so I've had to tinker with cameras (settled on The Show 15) and had to put my personal hitting sliders for contact and power both at 6. Years of MLB 2K has my timing way off.

For pitching, I use Legend - Meter - and I have the pitching control slider at 0, with the pitching consistency at 5 (default). I lowered the consistency to 4, and was still throwing balls in the dirt. The problem in this game is not with the pitch mechanics (on this issue), but rather catchers who seemingly never block balls in front of them. They really need to patch just part.

I still walk a few guys... I'm still tinkering with the cpu hitting sliders a bit - still can't seem to nail those. Either I shut them down or I feel like they avalanche me and I'm powerless to stop the massacre.

I did settle on fielder speed at 0 and fielder awareness at 3 - and man, this game plays like a thing of beauty. I'll never go back to playing MLB 2K13 after playing the Show, and especially the TON of outstanding Historic Rosters that are available. With the classic NBA files many of us created for NBA 2K11, and all of these - I'm in sports heaven!!
