After watching the replay and seeing how patient you are in the box I decided to give the fisheye camera a try. I've been a strike zone 3 guy my entire career. It was tough at first having the pitcher seem so far away but this re-engaged my focus and quickly I realized I can see the ball a lot longer. I was no longer getting tied up on the inside fastball. I can read location and break a bit better immediately. Plus the freshness of something new is exciting. I understand your patience also comes from much more experience than me but I am hoping I can improve from here as a hitter and go with your exact hitting sliders someday. Mine are slightly tweaked to play to my less advanced skill level. For now I'm going to stick with this camera as it has really opened up the view and pumped new life into my Show experience. Plus my 80's fantasy chise is just the funnest game ever.

Yankees Year 4 ALDS Jays Tie Up The Series 1-1 With 2-1 Win.

Well.....we had our chances. Several times we had runners on base and simply could not get the big hit last night. Bases loaded and no one out we only managed 1 run. And then several innings we had lead off doubles only to strand them. It was a frustrating evening for the Yankees. Also we had a huge blow in game ne when lead off hitter and starting SS Brea Turner was lost for the remainder of the season with a fractured wrist suffered on a HBP. Tyler Wade is now being thrusted into the starting SS role. Clint Frazier is being used now in Turners place at the top of the order. We had already lost Catcher Gary Sanchez for the second time this season (out for the post season). So the Yankees are platooning Tyler Stephenson and Julius Cooley at catcher.

The series shifts to Rogers Centre for a critical game three. Patrick Corbin will take the hill for the Bronx Bombers.


I will update the news blog once the season is officially over with end of the year stats, awards, standings and post season results and then we will move onto the off-season.

Once we complete the off-season we will take a break from our 2017 Yankees franchise which will enter Year 5 most likely on MLB The Show 21 on the PS4 (not going next gen for a at least another year).

We will then play between:

Bacons Fictional Twins Franchise Year 1
1980’s Strat-O-Matic Fantasy Draft Year 1
Jethro/Myers 1993 Full Minors Marlins Year 1

What a great cycle we have had this year on The Show!!

Still very much engaged with this game and my Marlins franchise. These sliders are a dream.
Currently sitting at 24-41 (every pitch, every ab, 162 is the plan). It's been a struggle, but fun nonetheless. For once the real Marlins are doing better than my fictional Marlins lol.
I cant wait for July to come around and make some more rebuild trades (Villar, Kintzler, Aguilar/Dickerson)

33-44 with the Dodgers, every AB & pitch, no simming. Not a baseball fan at all, but I love this game. Struggling but having a blast!!

A thrilling game 4 win!!! The Yankees come back after being down 2-0 and battling a sizzling Marcus Stroman, to win 3-2 and advance to the ALCS vs the Cleveland Indians.

In the National League the Giants took a 1-0 lead over the Miami Marlins.

Although I beat the Blue Jays 3-1 the series was tooth and nail.

Onto the League Championship in Year 4!!

Do you guys start games even though you know you don’t have time to finish it and have to come back to it a few hours, or even a day later? I’ve been having trouble finding 2 hours to play a game lately. I don’t save the game, I just let it power off and then continue on. But when I do this, something seems off like I’ve lost my momentum, forget what’s going on, have lost my focus, etc. For example, the last time I did this - I was up 3-2 going into the top of the 8th. Have to leave the game for a day. Turn ps4 back on. Remember that I have just brought in a new reliever to start the 8th. And the first pitch I throw is hammered into the seats and now it’s tied 3-3. Just frustrating

Yes I did this morning before work. Left tied at 4, saved and exited. Came home and won it about 10 minutes ago. Burgess remember this is a video game, friend. Have fun with it.

I cant. I just cant stop in the middle of a game. So, for me, I only play when I know I can complete a whole game. Probably why it takes me a whole year to play a season. Its the only game I play, so it just works for me. Im that way with movies too LOL. I cant watch a movie after its started, or if I know I cant watch the whole thing. IDC if I have seen it 100+ times. Call me silly, crazy, weird. Just cant do it.

Go into the shop now. There is a free pack of Topps Now cards, pick two...quick sell each for 5000 stubs. The 10k stubs should give you enough to purchase the diamond sponsors you want.
