I’ve asked this it there, but it looks like we can assign teams to any stadium. So if I put say the White Sox in the Giants ballpark, would the logos in the stadium be changed to the White Sox logos?

I am with you. I liked some things I saw and hopefully we see more and more as we move forward in the PS5 cycle.

I am sure I will enjoy the game later on in the cycle.

But it will take roster content to get me to budge. And that will take a long time during the cycle. The roster community is starting over from scratch.

Yeah, that is sad they have to start over. And without a guarantee it will be carried over to 22. Hopefully with the release being later, the out of the box roster will be a little better than previous versions.

I'm in a "wait and see" mode on '21. I'm having a blast with my carry over from '19, '20. But if '21 on the PS5 is amazing, it'll be hard to go all summer without making the switch.

I doubt we’re going to be able to edit the real MLB stadiums or even just have the logos change automatically. I’d guess that if you assign a team to a real stadium that it will stay the same, but as far as I know the devs haven’t confirmed it or anything so no one can really give you a sure answer right now.

It’s probably something you’ll have to wait until you or others actually get their hands on the game to check it out to find out for sure.

In the ign interview, it sounded like all the real life stadiums were one big image file that could not be edited.

The new stadiums they added as custom ones are piece by piece added so they function differently than the real life stadiums.

Unfortunately, the answer to your question is a no.

Hey Armor,



I am really digging the injury matrix idea. Just one more thing to add to the immersion/realism of our franchises.



I came up with another idea (assuming I am right about this).



Wind - it greatly effects HR's and power in this game, right?



What if we did a dice roll in the middle of the 5th inning to adjust wind mid-game? After all, weather can certainly change over the course of a real 3 hour baseball game.



So assuming that if you adjust the wind during a game it will change the power of the wind real-time i was thinking this....



Before the bottom of the 5th, do a 1-10 dice roll. If it comes out 1-3 the user moves the wind slider down to 2. If the user rolls 4 thru 7 the wind slider stays at 5, BUT if the user rolls 8-10 the wind slider moves to 8.



Thoughts?

I have added a step. I’m using the same approach before each game as well as doing it at the start of the 5th. It is changing the whole game for me!!

A couple of years ago Coach used to have a slider set that was pretty cool. You would draw 3 cards at the beginning of the game and each one would be a different move. Like one would be CPU -1 power, USER +1 Contact, or field speed -1. There would be set maxes so you couldn’t change it past like 2 or 3 clicks. If it was raining you would raise errors by 1.


It kept things interesting. Sometimes you’d notice the difference.

Yeah that was 2015 and again in 2016 he did that...it was a great tool where every game was different sliders and it was a cool way to do it...I played Blue Jays Franchise that year..cause that was the year Tuliwiski and Price got traded to them...talk about a killer line up...

These sliders would work perfect with that system. They are all pretty much close to default so you could go up or down by 1.

I am sad he didn’t keep it going. I think he struggled to find a balance set in 2016.

It is perfectly tuned for this slider set.

Awesome. Thanks Armor. I have officially moved on from the Indians, and will now be following and playing as the Rays. 40 years as a Indians fan. It was a fun ride and lots of ups and down. I hope the Rays give me that same kind of excitement.
