That one game I played I struck out 6 times. I was going against gio Gonzalez though, his K/9 isn’t terribly high.

The pitch speeds overall seem a bit faster but i feel challenged and in a very realistic way.

Yeah same for me , the strikeouts have went up but overall it's much better than HOF this year and getting much more believable and realistic results .

Hey I've been testing some more on HOF and I truly think I May have found a set that will play very well and realistically over the course of a full season . I really wanted to give CPU strike Fre a try at 4 myself since its really the only slider I've never adjusted yet . So since yesterday I've been playing on HOF with -
        Power 4
        Solid hits 4
        Timing 4
        User Foul Frequency 4
        Cpu Pitcher control 6
        Cpu Pitcher Consistency 6
        Cpu strike Frequency 4
        And 7/6 for pitch speeds
I've got 12 games in with these and its really been fantastic overall . I've got a game that I'm going to upload with these settings later on if ur interested to see how it plays , but I really think it's worth testing these and see how they would play for you .

I’ll check it out. I’m running legend default hitting. Reynaldo Lopez 1 hit me through 7 innings. Next game I lit up giolito and scored 13 runs total through 9 innings.

Great feedback and direction sir. Im also hitting way too many homers on HOF but 'scared' of Legend...so I will try these for human hitting. What are you rolling with for human pitching and CPU hitting?

Here's a game from today and I show all the settings /sliders in the video . A really fun and great game . If these sliders hold up than this is season will be very fun . Really hope they don't fall apart lol

Yeah that's why I still felt it was necessary to put power and solid hits at 4 even on Legend . I was still hitting too many homers and hits on default . I'm just honestly baffled by this year's game , on the Show 19 with HOF hitting it was just amazing , but here it's just a mess . IDK lol

The PCI test shows that legend with contact at 10 is near equal to hall of fame with contact at 5 (legend at 10 still has a very slightly smaller PCI). Again, sample size was too small to confirm, but timing window, check swing ability, and bat exit velocity floors were all well within margin for error.

Pre-1.04 testing confirmed that PCI size stayed the same between directional and zone hitting, only tested difference was the timing window.

This gives you a ton of wiggle room between HoF and legendary. Just raise the contact slider if legendary is too difficult. Any setting below 10 will still be harder than HoF.

This is all assuming my theory is correct. I don't like stating things as facts with this small of a sample size which is why I haven't posted this in my slider thread yet.
This is interesting , I'm on directional hitting Legend since HOF this year is just to easy for whatever reasons. I'm getting overall great results with Legend but I'm striking out way too much (Even for the Jays) Even when i get the timing right I seen to just be swinging under or over the pitch and fail to make contact and I strike out , do u think contact might be the reason why ?

The short answer is yes, you probably want to bump up the contact slider a few notches. Each bump is a pretty subtle difference on legendary, so no need to be worried or shy about it.

I'll give contact a bump by 1 and see if it helps .
