See, this is where The Show is lacking...raising Basestealing Aggressiveness to get players to act properly “Running” the bases is inside out.

We should have a “Base Running Aggressiveness “ slider that doesn’t affect “Base Stealing” !

So now guys who don’t “Steal” in real life are going to be getting thrown out ending innings ...am I wrong on this?

I will say I don’t see non +speed players stealing or attempting to at will. Trout stole 2nd and 3rd but that doesn’t mean he attempts to steal every time he gets on base. I find the situation dictates the CPU aggressiveness. If they are down in the middle innings or later they, like in real life, are more apt to send the runner in the risk/reward mindset...

I have chosen to bump BOTH Human and CPU pitch control to “8” from “6”... this should in theory IMMEDIATELY cut down on HR’s and CPU walks...

          Pitch Control = +2 from 6 to 8

At this point I give up chasing the elimination of multiple K’s (think too many)! Nothing works... on All-Star setting the CPU is just terrible! There are NO SLIDERS that can compensate for them swinging where the ball is NOT!

I play up one from All-Star, but I think your timing and foul frequency are too low. I don' remember what I have, but IIRC, I had lowered both when i first got the game, but increased both over time to make K's a lot harder for me to get. I think on a great day I can get 10+, but it's few and far in between

Without extensive testing I did I may had been inclined to agree but the last I tried was raising the contact and foul frequency to “4” for the CPU as opposed to the “3” for the human...I find raising the timing even one tick causes every game to become HR Derby which I don’t want. I want teams to have the abilities to K+14 as a team on a real bad day but also have the ability to have the “chance or hope” of a comeback. That is how these have played out for me... I lost a game by giving up 3 in the Top 9 and another 1 in the Top 10 as an example. I led the whole game until that point at 4-0...

Also having the power at “6” I find you still see moonshots but not every HR. Some are wall scrappers and the ability to rob them is there...

IF foul frequency gets raised (no more then +1) at the user discretion the CPU fouls pitches they don’t even swing at. IF you swing a bat a knee level and the ball comes in at the top of the zone you cannot foul it off. It’s physically impossible!

The sliders work well but ZONE is a MUST

I know what you mean about the fouls. The game isn't perfect, but it's pretty close lol.
I'll check my sliders tonight, but I'm generally after the same type of game - old school style and less of a homerun derby. I still haven't found the magic setting, as I do give up more homeruns than I'd like, but lowering power/contact/timing makes the CPU so bad at hitting it's not fun. So I'll take what I'm getting right now. I also turn OF speed wayyyy down (for both CPU and User) because I find that even at zero, they get to a lot of line drives in the gaps. The quick guys still cover a LOT of ground at zero.

I’m not going to advocate to plug all mine in but your choice. I did comment on page 1 that the Fielder Speed at “3” and not raising Fielder Reaction above “6” that I do see those “gappers” or the hard liners down the lines get down. The players with +speed will get to some as they should but slower players (for me it’s Eloy) DO NOT.

I’m LOVING how people download the slider set... put at the bottom in the notes to follow here and get bad ratings.... CLEARLY IF they came to the post they’d see that “ZONE” hitting is REQUIRED!!! These do not work on directional...NEVER HAVE!

I have decided to up the starter stamina to “10”... I realize this seems crazy and while not trying to avoid stamina depletion I cannot get a pitcher passed the 7th inning without being COMPLETELY DRAINED! There is NO WAY to get the complete game without this in my opinion...

***Side Note- your players will have the ability to get the CG but it’s up to the player to honor the true pitch count. Starters will NEVER throw 130+ pitches in today’s game!

                        Starter Stamina = +2 from 8 to 10

By all means, load the sliders and let me know. I find, like Madden, ANYTHING above All-Star and the “cheat” factor gets turned up... the higher above AS the worse it gets!

Those who want can use Broadcast cams for hitting/pitching can...

I am DONE with them... some stadiums I might as well be sitting on top of the batters eye beyond center field!!! It’s way to far back and screws up the timing for the human eye in my opinion. Outfield is what I’ve always used and I’m going back to it... sliders remain intact. This is purely for my own comfort

Reluctantly I’m dropping the wind to “6”. I love the bombs but the HR/9 is getting ridiculous in my opinion.

                              Wind = -2 from 8 to 6
