I don't know if this has been mentioned, but when a pitcher is injured, the reliever that you bring in is automatically warm, to emulate the rule in real life that allows a pitcher to get fully warm when coming in as an injury replacement. You don't have to have warm-up turned off, in fact, I think it is fun to have to think ahead with your bullpen.

I'm constantly stretching and tossing my guys before I warm them up to bring them in the game. You can't just select a relief guy and him be auto warmed. Having said that, I was under the impression that if you have the 8 pitch warm up active when an injury occurs that since the relief wasn't already tossing balls in the pen that you would only be allowed to throw 8 pitches before he has to come into the game and he would end up coming in cold. I might be wrong, but I could've swore that's how it worked in previous editions of the game.

No, even in the prior years anyone coming in to replace an injured pitcher would automatically be warmed up completely before their 1st actual pitch. The game doesn't do a good job of letting the user know this.

I picked up a series X the other day and put these in to use and I found that they played differently on the series x compared to the one. And it was for the good.

Not yet, but I’m going to. Got fixated on another set, but that one isn’t working for me either.

You are likely my last hope for this year’s game, though, so fingers crossed I get to play some realistic games this weekend and don’t have to shelve my favorite game.

Actually I won’t be able to use these since they require pitch speeds to be set to 10 in order to work.

You can lower pitch speeds if needed. They don't change anything else, it's purely a visual slider to make the game harder/easier for the user.

                  Then I guess I’ll give these a try. 🤞

I’ve played just 5 games with these sliders but they have been really good for me so far. A lot of variety and I am able to hit again, something I struggled terribly with playing on All-Star with other sliders.

Your set on HOF for pitching and hitting makes me feel like I picked up where I left of with ‘20.

                      Knuckle,

I have has this game for series x for two weeks now, and just couldn't give it a go. I'm a staunch A&S slider guy, and with him sitting out this version I just couldn't get a good feel.

Plugged these in yesterday, and have to say I'm loving the set!!! I normally run my pitch speeds at 7/6, but gave the 10/10 a try, and love the feel of it.

Great job, and thanks for the work!!!

I'm glad yall are enjoying the set.

I've been super busy lately and haven't had any time to game. I haven't been able to properly test out the possible contact uptick like I wanted so for now the sliders will stay as they are. Hopefully I can get around to testing it some more in the upcoming weeks.

Interested to see what you find. Starting to see a lot of games again where hittable pitches are resulting in foul balls or are hit right to an outfielder.

Yet if you got 8-15 hits a game people would be complaining that there is too many hits and not enough close games. Maybe you’re just in a slump. Happens all the time in MLB. Just keep at it. I have found that instead of trying all different slider sets. Just pick one that you like what’s trying to accomplish what you want in the game and don’t look back. Baseball is a game of hills and valleys. Embrace it.

Not saying every game should be 8-15 hits. I’m talking about games where the pitcher doesn’t have it that day and you’re getting a lot of hittable pitches.

I’m definitely sticking with this set, and am curious what Knuck had cooking in regards to the contact slider.

I may have to give a few parts of your sliders a try. I just can't convince myself to drop from Legend to HOF yet, but I know I probably should since I am using directional. I know in 20 if you had the contact slider at 10 on Legend that it was still a smaller PCI which meant a lower contact chance than HOF at 5.

I think there may an even bigger difference in 21. I have my contact slider at 21 and the whiff rate I am seeing is way too high. I haven't been able to convince myself to drop to HOF, though. I think next game I play in franchise I'll take a few parts of your sliders and mesh them with mine and hit on HOF and see how it does. I think last year the pitch speeds weren't any different, I may be wrong. I hope that is the case this year because 10/10 on Legend is still too slow, imo.
