Rmiok222 MLBTS22 HOF Directional/Classic Slider Set

Random thought here.

I think wind plays a massive play in homeruns. I know it does in real life too but the show is kinda ridiculous when it comes to it. I have the slider at 4 for now. One of my games wind was blowing straight out about 8mph. Kwan hit what I thought was a 200 foot pop out and it carried over the right field wall about 4 rows deep.

Statcast showed the exit velo was like 89mph. Highly considering lowing this to 3. A lot of people might view wind as a meaningless slider and just ignore it but it is absolutely one to pay attention to.

Last year we lowered wind to 2 for the same reasons. But you would think it would work the opposite when the wind is blowing in and it would balance out.

What made you go with pitch trail for pitching? I have always used classic fade but I did trail fade for a game. I think it is cool you see the break. But I don’t know if that is easier to spot the pitches or the same. On classic fade, if it was calling for a slider outside, I would aim where the glove is and the arrows will be going further away. That would be in theory aiming out if the zone and aiming before the break. But with trail it looks like you aim where the ball will break. Don’t know if that is helping or not. I would think more balls would be left in the zone cause they usually call for the edge or corners.

With pitch trail (I think that’s what I use, lol) I aim at the glove and that’s where the ball goes after the break as well. I’ve been using it forever so I guess I’m use to it. I’ve been using it with 4/4 control consistency. I’ve tried a ton of other combinations and I always find myself going back to 4/4. But yeah as far as I know pitch trail is after the break. So if I aim a slider at the glove that’s where it should be going

Okay so I downloaded ridins roster. Always awesome. CPU consistency down to 3. Don’t know why pitching is so dominant all the sudden.

God I hope I don’t lol. What I don’t get is I was getting LIT UP at one point with what I had. Then I have multiple games and other people also seeing it got too easy. If 4/3 doesn’t do it with power 4 and solid hits 6....then I don’t even know lol

After a massive convo with Bryan I’m going to incorporate S&B fielding sliders in my set.

Which is comical because now our sets are almost identical. Lol. I can’t wait!

The cpu is almost too scary but it’s too early to judge lol.

It’s been a rough time since the “update” I suppose you could say. Idk exactly what or when it was but I am either smashing the CPU or getting smashed depending on what sliders I try to use. It’s been quite a struggle lately to find the competitive balance that is in line with realistic stats.

I hear you on that. These are pretty hard honestly but the good news is I shutout the royals a couple games ago so it’s possible to do well. Game after that I lost and gave up 12 hits and 2HRs.
