Opening Game of my Mets franchise vs Nationals.
Incredible game. I win 1-0 in 10 innings. I only got 2 hits the whole game.
Alonso beat out a infield hit in the 7th. I could not hit Strasburg at all. I could not hit or time his pitches. Especially his slurve.
Lindor got a hit with a runner on 2nd in the 10th to win the game.
ONLY TWO HITS IN 10 INNINGS AND STILL WIN. Degrom struck out 13 in 5 and 2/3 inning but he had a high pitch count and had to be taken out.

I played that same game during testing. Strasburg was hard. The slurve has always and forever been a difficult pitch to read and time. Roy Halladay I think had one years back and it was wicked lol.

A 1-0 game is so good to see. Let's me know we have a good set in place right now as is. I've seen so much game variety already myself. 2-1 was lowest with 8 and 6 hits. But I've had 10+ scored on me a few times and 12+ hits against me quite a few times.

Set it on dynamic difficulty and just keep it there the entire season. That's my plan personally for hitting myself. You'll get better the more you play. Using quick counts may help too cause it will help you work counts kinda automatically at times. Quick counts for pitching however I feel makes that side a bit harder.

To answer your other question...I have three slider save files personally. One for playing, one for MLB simulated games, and one for Minor league simulated games (1 for injury slider). I load them as I sim then load the play one before playing. For the modifiers, change the sliders once inside the game itself. As long as you don't overwrite save them you'll just reload your play games sliders before your next game played and repeat the process each calendar day to sim games with a separate file with our pitcher stamina and injury settings.

Yeah, I do what Steve said. I load the play sliders before the game and start. Enter the modifiers and then after the game, I load the Minor League Sim. Advance the day and then load the MLB Sim sliders and sim the calendar games.

If you do not want the multiple sliders saves and just want the one set, just load it the base sliders before you advance to the next day.

Not only was Strasburg unhittable but the umpire was shafting me on the balls and strikes calls. It seemed like my strike zone was smaller than my opponents.

I was throwing strikes on the corner that were being called balls. I had to pitch like it was game 7 of the World Series to keep the game tied because I wasn't getting any hits.

This years game is NOT for the casual fan. They wont be able to play it.

What San Diego Studios has done is make game where on Simulation mode you MUST use authentic baseball strategy 100% of the time or you will not be able to compete.

Plus my hitting and pitching was tougher on dynamic as well.

Started having some practice games using these settings and sliders and something weird going on and not sure if its a game glitch or a settings thing. I played two games and both games the computer pitchers spent the entire game throwing every pitch right down the middle not on single pitch was anywhere but dead center for me to tee off on

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have dynamic difficulty on and it's on beginner with your sensitivity slider at 0 so it's locked in on beginner. Only thing I can think of.

At first I thought the same thing like maybe it was acting up so I moved all settings to All star and all star and same thing

I had my dynamic diff set to all star plus before i took it off completely

Yeah I'm not sure why they would throw everything down the middle and slow then lol. Maybe close out the game and reboot. That's a new one on me if that's what they're doing on Allstar hitting difficulty.

I swear I don’t get what a lot of people in the cesspool AKA the main forum are talking about. I’m seeing a lot of post about most of their scoring is due to the long ball.

Grant it I haven’t put a ton of runs up as I’m playing with the Pirates, but I’m putting what runs that go up in all different ways. From gappers to sac flys. The long ball isn’t over done that I’m seeing.

I honestly think you gotta wait till the offence calms down and the franchise and stats get set.

I just won 9-0 all runs came in first 3 innings and NONE were homers!! 16 hits

Brewers beat D Backs and Wondruff strikes out 11 7 shutout innings was on fire!

in the other game though yankees blasted me to death 9-6 I was down 9-1 early chipped away with texas but by then I was just to far behind had the tie run to the plate even at the end to chapman but struck out.

no runs were homers.

I got a theory that the A1 has some program in the game that sort of programs the A1 on who is hot cold or stats when to happen hot and cold streaks that's where the home runs come in.

I don't want to touch any slider now the game is playing perfect eery game is different there might be a home run frenzy game a 1-0 game of just a game full of singles and doubles. this is what we want it is baseball~!
