    Re: S & B's Directional/Classic/Quick Counts MLB 22 Sliders

Wanted to post some box scores of last 6 games played using OP sliders. Well, the last three games I've had SP stamina at 5 to test. Has been really good so SDS really worked on pitcher stamina for sure.

And again, all games I have pitched for both teams meaning I switch sides after each half inning. To test the manager hook (at 4 for these games) I wait to switch to see when the cpu yanks the SP.

    Game #1

    CLE 5 9 0 (5BB 13K)
    NYY 4 13 0 (1BB 9K)

    CLE- 2B (2), HR (1)
    NYY- 2B (5)

    SP McKenzie- 4ip 7h 2er 0bb 2k
    SP Cole- 6ip 5h 2er 4bb 8k

    Game #2

    CLE 7 12 0 (5BB 9K)
    NYY 1 4 0 (1BB 9K)

    CLE- 2B (2), HR (1)
    NYY- HR (1)

    SP Bieber- 8ip 3h 1er 1bb 7k
    SP Severino- 5.1ip 7h 6er 3bb 6k

    Game #3

    MIL 4 9 0 (3BB 10K)
    PHI 6 10 0 (2BB 8K)

    MIL- 2B (2), HR (1)
    PHI- HR (2)

    SP Peralta- 5ip 6h 5er 2bb 6k
    SP Wheeler- 5ip 6h 4er 3bb 6k

    Game #4

    HOU 8 16 0 (1BB 7K)
    TEX 3 3 0 (8BB 8K)

    HOU- 2B (3), HR (3)
    TEX- 2B (1)

    SP McCullers- 4ip 2h 3er 8bb 5k
    SP Hearn- 3ip 9h 7er 1bb 4

    Game #5

    COL 2 8 0 (0BB 4K)
    PHI 1 3 1 (3BB 6K)

    COL- 2B (3)
    PHI- HR (1)

    SP- Senzatela- 7ip 2h 1er 2bb 4k
    SP Suárez- 5.2ip 5h 1r 0er 0bb 4k

    Game #6

    MIL 9 17 0 (3BB 5K)
    PIT 4 10 0 (3BB 7K)

    MIL- 2B (2), HR (3)
    PIT- 2B (1), HR (1)

    SP Houser- 5ip 5h 2er 2bb 3k
    SP Wilson- 4ip 10h 4er 1bb 3k

Again, all offensive numbers are from the cpu hitting against my pitching for both teams. Love this game!!

You must have a good eye. I’m getting from 4 K to 13 K per game on offense. What is your team batting average? Maybe raise pitch speed?
      I'm 8th in batting average. It's around .253

I am still getting a lot of line drives to the outfield which is good. The good teams make the superb plays in the field. I think a good 2b or SS will really shine with these sliders. The Mets have Lindor which is good.

No more robo Infielders. A good IF will have its own distinctive style

We are updating the OP with a couple changes.

Reaction up to 3. Cut back on some singles.
Human and CPU Stamina at 5.
          Steal frequency down to 3.
          Steal success up to 7.

.253 is a good team average. You must have really good discipline at the plate.

Exactly right! I played with the Mets a couple times so far. Lindor made a great diving stop one time. Have seen only one other SS do that in all the other games I've played. Can't remember who but I specifically remember Lindor from being a Guardians and Lindor fan myself.

We upped reaction to 3 to cut back on a few singles here and there hopefully.

One more update. Manager hook Raised to 5 to start the games. At 4, they were leaching the pitchers in too long.

Thanks for your patience, folks. We are getting there.

Thanks haha. If I moved CPU pitch consistency to like 7 would it reduce walks?

I have a question about the three fielding ratings on the attributes wheel.

Reaction Arm and Fielding. Obviously the higher the rating the better. My question is what ratings range would an average fielder be in.

If you could rank the fielders from Gold Glove --Superb--Above Average--Average--Below Average where would the ratings be? Would a average fielder in 60-70 range or would it be lower?

We are going to lower Infield Errors back down to 8. We were seeing too many diving players where they don’t come up with the ball.

Are you using dynamic difficulty for hitting? I'd try that first. If you jump up to legend and still are killing it then I'd raise or lower pitch speed. Raising consistency would only get them to throw more strikes consistently. You will lose some of your walks you get.

My guess is that you have a good eye hitting. What camera angle do you use? I'd suggest Fish Eye or Fish Eye 2. If you are using something zoomed in like I see online players use then that's gonna make a huge difference with reading pitches.

I’m at work now so I don’t see the ratings. I am not sure what the lowest setting for the worse fielder is. I would say 60-70 is average. Maybe see what Arenado is since he would be a gold glove winner.

Steve said that guys in the 80’s are great. The 90’s are the diamond fielders. Low 60’s are the lower ones. And it depends on the rosters.
