Got the rosters downloaded. Thanks a lot bro! Saved me a lot of work lol. I like to start my franchise with no injuries and the top players on the MLB roster so this is gold. You have Clevinger on the MLB roster btw. Only thing I did for Padres was demote one of the three Catchers to AAA and move Tatis up to the MLB from triple A.

Ready to get my Mariners franchise started too. Not sure if I'll start it this weekend but for sure by Monday with these rosters.

You guys are brave to play a full 162 with the Pirates lol. If I were to choose another team to build up it would be the Rockies most likely. Always been a somewhat Rockies fan for some reason. I think I just like the purple lol

I found this description of foul frequency:

“Foul Frequency: Affects the ratio of Foul balls to Fair balls. This setting overlaps with the Timing setting, to some extent, because the higher this setting, the better your timing has to be to put the ball in play. This option does NOT affect strikeouts (except when bunting). Increasing ONLY this option will lead to a larger number of foul balls, but does NOT make you magically foul off pitches you weren't going to make contact on. Increasing ONLY this slider will reduce outs on batted balls (eg: fly outs). Increasing ONLY this slider will slightly increase batting averages. Increasing ONLY this slider will significantly increase pitch counts, and slightly increase walks and strikeouts.

On a swing with poor contact, this slider is the difference between a foul ball and a pop up or ground out. On a swing that is early or late, this setting makes the difference between a ball down the line and a ball in foul territory. If too many balls are being put into play, and at-bats are too short, even when producing offensively, this is the option to change. If too many balls are being fouled off, to the point where the only fair balls are line drives or home runs, this is the option to change.

A low number of foul balls causes a higher number of balls to be put in play, which in turn, significantly lowers your BABIP (batting average on balls in play), and increases undesirable outcomes, like pop-ups and double plays.”

Marlins would be second choice of a half rebuild team after Rockies. Sorta a toss up though between those two. I have sort of a disdain towards Marlins though for beating the Indians in the World Series somehow in I think 97.

Actively shopping Reynolds as well as well as David Bednar our closer.

Shopping Bednar simply because I don’t think a decent closer this season is going g to make a hill of beans, and prospects are wanted.

I am 3-1 so far with my Mets Franchise.

My game results:

1-0 W vs Wash 10 innings
5-4 W vs Wash
2-3 L vs Wash
4-3 W vs Atl 10 innings

Every game has been a one run game and all 3 of my victories came in my last turn at bat. My gameplay cant be more evenly matched than this. One run games are great but boy is it nerve racking to play like that. One thing for certain is that my guys are definitely in games to the end. The game is never over for the Mets.

The extra inning runner rule favors the home team. That's how I am winning. I keep them scoreless in the top of the 10th and I knock my runnner in.

Exciting and intense gameplay for me so far with these sliders.

I think you are fine trading this early. Especially since you don’t really get a offseason to begin the season. I would say the first week or two of the season you can make a trade and then after that it is probably during at the trade deadline.

I read on here that the Pirates could trade Reynolds to the Padres for Abrahms, Weathers, and Campusano. At least that is what the Pirates wanted in real life. Or close to it. I might make that deal for myself.

You probably read that from me. The real life offer from SD was Weathers, Paddack, and Campusano, PIT declined and wanted Abrams instead, SD said no and no deal got done.


After restarting my franchise with opening day rosters and your sliders it has been awesome! Got to play a good amount of games today, currently sitting at 10-6. All stats look great, the only thing I changed (for my personal preference) was CPU pitch consistency to 10. Now I average about 3.5 BBs per game down from like 6-8.

It has been a lot of fun with some great hit distribution. Love the sliders still! I can post exact stats later but all well within normal and great difficulty.

Started my Mariners franchise just now. Won game one vs Tigers!

SEA 8 10 2 (3BB 12K)

Tigers- 2B, HR
Mariners- two 2B, HR

2021 Cy young winner Robbie Ray pitched 6 strong innings giving up 6 hits 1bb 6k and no earned runs. One unearned from JP Crawford fielding error.

Singles definitely not going anywhere lol. A great played game though and nice start to the season. I knocked out their SP E Rod after 2.2ip

I may raise the IF arm strength from 0 to 1 just to give myself a little more zip. This years game is super competitive and you have to react a little more quickly. The game has a knack for hitting balls in deep IF areas that you have to respond to. I think at 0 the arm strength is just a little light. This years game is definitely more of a read and react game.
