After really struggling hitting against de grom sll of a sudden I go walk hit then hit (which should have been. A double ) and grand slam with sotto!! I had him at 100 pitches which helped

So I knock fe from out after 4 innings and a 4-0 lead I see the cpu hasn’t changed going straight to LR before the 5th lol

I'll have to go back and look how I reordered the cpu bullpen last year. How I did it caused the best bullpen logic I've ever seen on the game. Really sucks this still hasn't been addressed. For now just be sure to raise manager hook to 10 as soon as they remove the SP. That really worked great and never saw guys pitch over one inning unless it was their LRP.

Won the game 5-2 had a heart attack at the end as I loaded the bases with 2 love what o see so far !wish I knew how to post pics on my phone so I could post vic scores. Sotto had sll

One thing that shocked me was the cpu max some defensive subs in the 9th innings never seen that before and was the catcher!

Got my settings locked in at all star plus as well now. So now I just need to start updating my excel files and wait for roster update.

They fixed the stamina this year. Pitchers seem like they can go 100 pitches easier and that is stamina at 5.

I will raise difficulty to Allstar Plus.

I just want to see how the CPU hits with HOF. They really have some punch so far.

The wind in the Pirates game as at 8 mph I think. But they were pretty much no doubters.

The live rosters aren’t too bad ootb. I was impressed. They were good enough if you really wanted to start. They are good enough for me for testing. By the time I start my real franchise up they should have some of the missing players in. I haven’t checked ratings or potentials.

Later today I might try using Allstar + for everything. Might go with default with pitch control at 4 and fielding sliders where they currently are.

Man if we can avoid legend pitching and still get the cpu offense (batting averages etc) and hit distribution we had last year I'd be thrilled. Depending on how many games you get in for testing HOF or AS+ before Monday night I may just begin on HOF pitching myself.

I gotta see how stamina is after two or three times through the rotation before I would say it's fixed. Would be nice not to have to raise it but it's been the same forever it seems so I'll be cautiously optimistic for now.

Being about to leave wind slider alone would be good too. Can't wait to start entering some data lol

I was trying hall of fame pitching and the cpu power very pleasantly surprised me. Cincinnati took Bieber deep twice in the first inning.

The card system is ingenious and a absolute revelation into baseball gameplay.

It is a ingenious way to integrate all the random things that can happen in each game during the season.
When I download 22 on Gamepass next week I am going to start a 162 game Mets franchise where I will play all my games. I definitely will be using them to add variety to each game.

In the meantime I will try the sliders and cards on 21 and see how it all works.

You definitely should update this thread during the year so everyone can see the progress with this all.

So I caved and had to start playing this game now. About to play first test game. I'll be the Mets hosting the Nationals in the home opener.

For difficulty I am using dynamic for both hitting and pitching for now. I have the sensitivity slider up to 8 so it moves a bit quicker. Last year I jumped up to legend pitching so I want to see where I can get to before locking into any difficulty. 99.9% will be Allstar hitting for me. It's the pitching I am curious to see how it goes.

What I noticed finally was the CPU using the BP really good/. instead of keeping the LR in Trevor williams was taken out after 2 innings. and the CPU changed the pitcher after every innings after that..

so I must so after that 1 game the CPU AI BP logic is better this year. St Louis Pirates will be the next game to play just playing with my rosters before that next game. need to create several st louis players missing

Updated the OP. Hoping I keep seeing some good results using Allstar + on pitching. But I think we can keep it between that and HOF this year. Here is hoping to no legend.

Will do. Steve is playing quite a bit as well. We might be pretty close to something to start with. Think HOF will be our sweet spot.
