    Both timing to 4.
Both solid hits raised to 7.
    Human Control lowered to 4.
    Fielder reaction raised to 3.
OF Arm Strength lowered to 4.

Awesome, definitely going to give these a try. I'm on HOF pitching and I still have not been giving up too many hits/runs with my starters (my bullpen is another story). My team leads MLB in ERA / HRs allowed and three of my 5 starters are top 5 in ERA. I need these guys to give up some hits lol.

We were seeing that as well. Solid hits at 7 is a huge difference. Or at least or should be. Lowering control to 4 will give up more walks as well. I have been using these on Allstar plus and also on Allstar on my Nintendo Switch. And Steve uses HOF pitching and they been great for us.

The Athletics scored 16 runs in the 3 game series and the Astros scored 15 runs in 3 games. Just played the Orioles and they scored 4 runs in the series. So you can still get games that you pitch good.

        Re: S & B's Directional/Classic/Quick Counts MLB 22 Sliders

Find I’m not close with the hitting on timing at 4. Went back to default. Was either striking out or popping up every at bat. I play on hall of fame for both pitching and hitting so 5 feels like a good spot for timing for me. If I notice I’m getting too many hits I’ll just bump it back down to 4 and work on my timing.

First game back after 3 days off

            Brewers 6 14 0
            Mets 7 16 0

30 total hits--2 Home Runs 6 doubles and the rest were singles.

I was up 6-4 heading into top of ninth. Diaz blows the save by giving up two runs to tie the game. Pete Alonso the leadoff hitter in the bottom of the inning homers to give the Mets the win.

In my franchise Robinson Cano is batting like .335 and is in the top 5 hitters in the NL. He is doing good for me and is usually my DH.

Fellas, Ive been struggling to K hitters with Brewers rotation, which shouldnt be a problem… Granted this was with sliders from a couple weeks ago.

Will the new sliders on OP be better for Ks?

Has this been post patch? That is strange. Especially for that pitching staff. I been averaging 9.3K per game in the last 12 games with the Mariners. Had 16 K’s one game. 2 games with the Cardinals and have 25 total K’s.

That was all with timing at 4 but with Allstar + pitching. But I jumped up to HOF now this next game.

How many K’s have you been averaging?

I only played one game with these and saw a ton of hits, the CPU finally hit some HRs off me and I have not hit one in 3 games which is just odd.

This is also my first ever game using Quick Counts, so I was definitely off my game a bit as I usually play every pitch.

I start a 3 game set at Home against Cincinnati, looking forward to seeing how a series goes with these.

Nice! Homeruns will definitely happen still so don't worry about that. Power at 3 works pretty well. I hit a long warning track shot with Pete Alonso last night that was caught at the wall. Power at 4 that was no doubt a homerun. But he still has 2 HR in eight games so far which is more realistic than 4-6 HR I'd probably have with power at 4 or 5.

You sticking with quick counts? It's for sure an added challenge and does make the game slightly more difficult imo.

I'm happy I gave up a few HRs, I have not given up many at all. I lead the league in fewest HRs allowed so this was quite welcome.

I do think I'm sticking with Quick Counts, it gives me the ability to walk opposing hitters, something that is difficult when I control each pitch.

Yea this was post patch using sliders from a couple weeks ago... I'll plug in the new update and try them out!

I was around 8-9 but I was struggling to K hitters with Burnes, Woodruff and Peralta... But again Ill try the new sliders and report back.

Something I am playing with in order to get errors is I have IF throwing errors up to 9 now. If you can ignore no fielding errors like this game has always been plagued with then try it out.

I'm to the point idc how the errors are I just want some so I'm not leading the league in fielding percentage by huge margins. So far so good and may even go up to 10 if I'm still wanting to see more. I'd like to see close to 1 error per game total on average if possible.

It is very interesting to see how someone else with fare with the Mets during a season.

However you are using quick counts so that is a different situation than me. I dont use quick counts.
My strategy is to take pitches and wear the starting pitcher down if I can't get to them early. That can make for some long games but it is a good strategy.

The goal is to get a lead...use your good starting pitching to maintain it and before the other team knows it Diaz is getting the save at the end.

I just played a game against the Marlins where DEGROM threw 100+ pitches in 5.2 innings. Peterson in real life threw over 100 in 5 innings just last week in a actual game. Play like the real Mets do. Use your starters to keep them down. Chances are the other team cant stay as solid for 9 innings on the mound as the bullpen comes in and the game goes on.
