my long ball problems seem to be over now

I honestly think you gotta wait till the offence calms down and the franchise and stats get set.

I just won 9-0 all runs came in first 3 innings and NONE were homers!! 16 hits

Brewers beat D Backs and Wondruff strikes out 11 7 shutout innings was on fire!

in the other game though yankees blasted me to death 9-6 I was down 9-1 early chipped away with texas but by then I was just to far behind had the tie run to the plate even at the end to chapman but struck out.

no runs were homers.

I got a theory that the A1 has some program in the game that sort of programs the A1 on who is hot cold or stats when to happen hot and cold streaks that's where the home runs come in.

I don't want to touch any slider now the game is playing perfect eery game is different there might be a home run frenzy game a 1-0 game of just a game full of singles and doubles. this is what we want it is baseball~!

I honestly think I could go out there and post that “I heard a fan cut a sideways fart, and then the game crashed” and people would pile on with the same issue.

I swear I don’t get what a lot of people in the cesspool AKA the main forum are talking about. I’m seeing a lot of post about most of their scoring is due to the long ball.

Grant it I haven’t put a ton of runs up as I’m playing with the Pirates, but I’m putting what runs that go up in all different ways. From gappers to sac flys. The long ball isn’t over done that I’m seeing.

I just played a test game in my franchise as the Pirates against the Cubs. I was on Allstar + hitting and pitching. I beat the Cubs 9-4 lol Pirates hit like 3 HR. Might play with them and win the World Series. Lol

Yeah, the general forum is horrible. One thread is actually complaining about the commentary. That it is getting repeated. One person actually was complaining that they were talking about something a half inning later still. I don’t know about you but I love that. I love when they get on a story and they do interrupt it and say what is happening but they go back to it and finish the story. The old announcers they would get cut off and never go back.

I got no issues with the commentary. of course it is repedativee you can't say '1-0 count in 100 different ways lol

it is much better then before there are pauses between pitches. my only complaint is Boog sounds a bit bored with some home run calls. I think if it is a blowout he should be bored with it and just say 'and it is gone' but get excited on close games with it lol. right now I think it is random.

As for the pirates and going yard on the cubs like that……you’re the damn man!!! I’m 1-4 with them. We boat raced the Reds to the tune of 8-1 in game 1 of the series to pick up our first win. I just dropped game two to them 4-2. D*** Joey Votto!!!

What we are seeing in our games is a little too many singles by both sides. Testing some things out. Let me know if you guys notice that too.

Are you guys seeing too many singles as well? At least from the cpu side? We want to see 60-65% of hits be singles. We are up close to 70%. Doubles are a bit low but homeruns hit are at a perfect spot. The difficult part is increasing XBH without overpowering the homeruns. If only a a small handful of those singles were doubles or even triples we would have perfect hit distribution percentages all around while also having the strikeouts still.

This could just be one of those things we may have to live with. I'd rather have just a little too many singles than too many homeruns or doubles for that matter. Last year getting strikeouts right was hard and we were chasing more singles lol. This year it's the opposite crazy enough.

To give an idea on how old I am here. I finally have my 21 year old son coming in here to get slider sets. He would not mess with sliders for a long time. Now it’s the first thing he does. You guys that make these things are great!!! Total game changers.

I joined OS way back in 2008. Always been a slider guy since then. As I've gotten older though this baseball game has become the only sports game I buy yearly. In 2nd would be the NHL game I buy every 2-3 years. Madden and nba 2k suck and I'll probably never buy them again. Haven't bought Madden since 2019 and 2k I regrettably bought 2k22 and never played it

Man I’m with you there. I played the show year round this year. I also bought 2K22 and played maybe 10 games. Hell they didn’t even have injuries in my nba mode. That just killed any chance of me giving it a shot. Madden I was big into until the 1 patch just killed off a great game at the time.

The Show and WWE 2K22 will be the 2 games I play this year. Done with EA as well as NBA 2k series.
