Hey guys, I just made the switch over from Armor's sliders to yours. I have nothing against Armor's sliders, but I was struggling to be competitive with them. I'm 14 games into a franchise using your sliders and I'm 8-6 with every game being absolutely wonderful. Thanks for the sliders, they're making this game fun again!

For what it's worth, I went against everything I've said in other threads and went with my hometown team, the Guardians. Normally I choose a team I don't really follow but I love the team they put together this year with all the young talent, and I love Terry Francona as a manager. Of course the irony is they still have Franmil Reyes because I'm using last week's rosters, and he went and singlehandedly beat the Reds a few games ago...but it is what it is.

Are you playing every pitch or using quick counts?

Every pitch. I've never tried quick counts before, I like to be a part of every moment of the game.

I see what you did there lol. I think I'm finally used to the new name but I grew up in the 90s and the Indians were always my favorite team, no matter the sport.

I can’t even say “guardians” yet. Not because I’m one of those people that are up in arms about a name change though…it’s just hard saying “guardians” when I’ve said Indians for 30 years.

Lol I catch myself saying or thinking "Indians" all the time, not as much as earlier in the year but like you said, it's hard to erase 30 years of "Indians".

Whatever their name, I just hope I don't get bored during my franchise lol. I'm guilty of wanting to change teams in the middle of a season.

I am a Guardians fan as well. Not living in Cleveland or anything I've gotten used to now saying Guardians. Every now and then I might say Indians but for the most part I'm used to saying Guardians now. Name has kinda grown on me I suppose. I am more bothered by losing Chief Wahoo over the name lol

Lol I was okay with losing Chief Wahoo. If it means less drama around the organization and less hurt feelings, then that's fine. As long as people don't start complaining or trying to remove all of the old photos/videos of the great moments of the past, I'm all good. I mean, when I was a kid my favorite summer memories are listening to the radio at night with John Adams drum banging and seeing Chief Wahoo all over town when the team was just an absolute beast.

On a side note, Franmil Reyes is tearing it up in my franchise so far...which is bittersweet but also hilarious. I'm using the rosters from last week (post trade deadline).

You mentioned you tend to restart a lot of times. What I found to help me this year is to edit player attributes to match latest live roster as I have gone. Since you are using latest live roster it would be a good start and just have to update as they come from here.

It keeps me engaged in my season knowing different player upgrades. And has just made my season fun seeing guys like Kwan, and Julio Rodriguez updated and see the numbers they put up with updated attributes.

It sounds like a lot of work. Sometimes it is if you're updating pitcher control, velocity, and break attributes. That involves going in each pitch attribute to copy it. But if not that, then it's really simple. I use the website and control F to sort by team to make it go pretty quick.

NL East standings have really started to heat up for me. The 3-7 west coast road trip set us back to 2nd place, now 1.5 back from Philly. And the red hot Atlanta Braves are on my tail in 3rd place, winning 9 straight and are 3 back of Philly.

Glad to come back home for some games, where we are 22-9. Scherzer and Carrasco both going to the IL recently has been tough and our dream pitching start has started to come back to the pack recently. Hopefully those guys are back soon and deGrom is lurking in early August! Every game is must win at this point and this is exactly why I chose the Mets this year!

All 30 teams. If you do I suggest taking it slow and doing one division at a time and not all 30 in one sitting. I'm still in the process of updating to July 29 live roster. I have AL and NL Central to finish yet. I'll start with my division of NL East. Then edit team I play next, and do another division or two until done.

Getting ready to face Spencer Strider updated with 85ovr now next series. What's cool is he started in AAA like real life. Brought up only cause of an injury to Soroka late May. So now when Soroka comes back I'll send down Ynoa for them and keep Strider in the majors.

That's some awesome dedication! My Guardians roster is already way out of whack, between still having Franmil Reyes and having players like Bryan Rocchio on the MLB roster even though he hasn't even played in AAA yet. I was hoping to keep it as realistic as possible but I can see this franchise is already has it's own unique storylines and it's only mid-April. But that's what makes this game so much fun!
