Hi All - out of curiosity, what kind of walk numbers do you get both pitching and hitting?

I’m getting about 2 walks per game I would say on each side.

Awesome - close enough. Almost real MLB average. I love the way these play, just had concerns with walks long term. It’s always tough to rack them up on the pitching side, even using classic/ratings based.

It’s the dog days boys. Since starting my podcast up and doing a ton of football preview talk, it just feels like football season. Somebody pull me out of the depths of the madden despair.

Man, these sliders are so unbelievably fun. Have had some wild games in the first week or so of my expansion franchise. Most fun I’ve had since launch. Through my first 7 games, I scored a total of 16 runs and was sporting a 2-5 record. I’m game 8 against the Rockies, my offense exploded for 15 runs and nearly doubled up my season total.

30 team control. I replaced the Nationals with a custom “Charlotte Knights” team. My house rules for building out the roster were
1- any player currently in the free agency pool was eligible for selection
2 - any player who has been DFAd this year is eligible for selection
3- and for an inaugural draft class, I signed 10 of the AI generated players that appear in FA when you start franchise. I allowed myself 1 A potential, 1 B and then a handful of Cs and Ds.

For the players on the Nationals Roster, I spread them throughout the MLB. I looked at last years MLB reverse standings and decided “okay, the A’s should get Josiah Gray, the Rockies get CJ Abrams” and so on. It’s a BAD team but I’m playing every pitch of every inning and it’s a grind. Very fun grind though.

Getting a Series X this week. I will let you know if there are any differences for me.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the Current Gen is probably a totally different game.

This game looks AMAZING ON CURRENT GEN.

It is immaculate compared to the X Box One.

I will give you more feedback when I play some more games.

Is it me or does the CPU strikeout more since patch 14?
I found an amazing balance at max cpu timing and contact but since the patch I’m racking up the k’s again at an alarming rate

I’m trying out legend right now to see if it’s any better. I really hope SDS realize what they did to pitching this year.
