It’s not really an issue but in years past they would count one less pitch per AB. So you start the game with a 2-2 count you would actually have pitch count of 3. They did that for every AB. Probably averaged out to keep it fair since you don’t get any 1 or 2 pitch AB. So now they count every pitch. Which is fine but the pitch counts get higher. So when you say use Scherzer with quick counts, he won’t get tired until around 120 pitches. If you don’t use quick counts, he gets tired around 90 pitches.

So you almost have to not pay attention to pitch counts using quick counts.

I stopped using Quick Counts a couple years ago because I noticed that the Presentation elements seemed more stripped down when you play with Quick Counts (like the little pop ups out of the score bug that give facts about the player at bat). Have you noticed if that is still the case?

No, they put that back in last year’s game. You don’t miss anything now. Except for when they might occasionally do a Google replay where they show the placement of the pitch sequence when you strike someone out. You only see the pitches that you only threw. And that happens about once a game.

But I know what you were talking about. I stopped using them as well then.

Question regarding rosters, as I haven't scoured those threads too much. What are your plans re: starting franchise roster?

I know Ridin' and crew will put something out--but I'm not nec. looking to wait long. These don't have to be perfect by any means, I am just looking for something respectable.

I just uploaded a roster that we are starting our franchises with in the vault. It is called SB Roster. It is franchise ready. I downloaded the Full Minor roster and imported Tatis that has 3 years of stats so he shouldn’t be a rookie. It has the Japanese players in there as well.


We are going to update and fix the amount of pitchers each level has. But if you don’t mind that it is ready to go.

I just uploaded a roster that we are starting our franchises with in the vault. It is called SB Roster. It is franchise ready. I downloaded the Full Minor roster and imported Tatis that has 3 years of stats so he shouldn’t be a rookie. It has the Japanese players in there as well.





We are going to update and fix the amount of pitchers each level has. But if you don’t mind that it is ready to go.

Unfortunately when trying to fix the roster mess for bullpen usage prior to starting a season nothing sticks when you start one. So this idea won't work sadly. Was trying to cut the work in half and not do this inside a saved franchise but the AI will mess it up regardless lol. Oh well I guess

I had to upload a new slider set in the vault called S and B 23 Allstar Sliders V1.0.

I had the wrong errors listed.

Infield and outfield fielding errors should be 5. Infield throwing errors at 8. Outfield throwing errors at 0.

Finally able to get started. Going to stream on YouTube so I can save videos into a playlist. Decided to play the first and last game of every series so I'll still play at least 100 out of 162 and pitch with everyone. Game #1 of the season starts now!
