Yep. Don’t feel like you have to change cause we changed. If it’s working great for you, then stay with it. The reason for the change was we were seeing too many extra base hits on user hitting. So we lowered power to 4 but raised contact to get more variety. Consistency raised to lower meatballs thrown to us and hopefully to help tone down the HBP.

User hitting is very subjective and mostly going to vary depending on skill level etc. Everyone will probably have different hitting sliders for the user. User timing at 0 like we use may not be good for you if you're swing and missing enough already for example.

        Notable changes are:
        User Contact: 6
        User Power: 4
        CPU Consistency: 7

Pitch speeds we normally do default but we are trying 6/6 as it seems slower this year.

Let us know if you have any questions. Enjoy.

I thought they felt slower this year. Faced Jordan Montgomery and he threw of ton of 12-6 curves. I could not hit them and was waaaaaaayyy out in front on most of them. Got me for 8 punch outs in 7IP
Most of them were that dang curveball
They register as 78MPH coming in but visually it felt like an eephus pitch the way I was swinging at it

Do you think raising pitch speed could help with my timing?

Yeah it should help. Most of my strike outs are from that pitch too. Just have to be able to keep up with fastballs. I would raise it to 6 and see if that helps. If you are still early you could go to 7.

I still have to apply the changes, but I think they can be useful. I hit too many HR and doubles, in general good games, but I prefer more singles.
Also CPU consistency raise might be better. Even the best pitchers sometimes pitched badly, like up in the count 0-2 and then threw 4 very bad balls, so there was no pressure for me to swing at all. Also got several HBP.

I use both pitch speeds at 10. I’m still out in front of breaking balls if I am not expecting one. But definitely helped me cut down on whiffs hahaha.

I might have to go back to 5 contact 5 power, played quite a few games and every hit seems way to weak. Even Jose can barely reach the fence

Yeah we are wondering if power needs to go back to 5. With consistency at 7 that is limiting the meatballs so that might be enough.

Playing with 6 contact and 5 power. Playing good, no weak hits and still got the variety with 6 contact. With the cpu 7 consistency their not throwing high school pitches In the middle really helps the hbp and slows down the hr rate

                          Good to hear.

Are you seeing the CPU offense still dangerous?

I decided to roll with the Mariners as my official franchise. My plan is to follow the calendar and keep up with the schedule. I plan to have a 2nd franchise that I will play the 1st and last game of every series with. That way I can move along. And cause I want to play more than one game a day lol.

Mariners finished the four game set with the Guardians and are finishing the Angels series tonight. So this is a little late.

                              Game one:

                              CLE 5 9 0
                              SEA 6 8 0

                              W- Diego Castillo ( 1 - 0 )
                              L- Emmanual Clase ( 0 - 1 )
                              S- None

                              CLE SP- Bieber 7.0 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, 3.86 ERA
                              SEA SP- Castillo 6.0 IP, 6 H, 5 ER, 5 BB, 2 K, 7.50 ERA

CLE HRs- Kwan (1) Ramirez (2)
                              SEA HRs- Kelenic (1)

                              PotG- Rodriguez 3 for 4 - 2B, 2 singles, 2 R

Notes - Kelenic hits walk off HR in 9th.

                              Game two:

                              CLE 6 11 1
                              SEA 3 3 0

                              S- Emmanuel Clase ( 1 )
