Correct. Only sliders that impact simulated games are pitcher stamina, manager hook, and injuries.

Nope, only staminas and hook sliders matter when simming.

OK, I am all in on 23 (and prob this thread too).

Some on OS know I've been around here forever and have spent years engaging with Armor during his streams and in his OS threads.

I think we've lost him (unless you are playing 20), so hopefully y'all are OK adopting me.

I'm obsessed w/baseball (real and virtual) and will hopefully provide some value to this thread/your sliders.

Welcome to 2023, Dowie! Use whatever sliders and settings you want that makes the game enjoyable for YOU. Feel free to discuss the game here if you'd like! And if you want to adopt our sliders that's cool too. Always like hearing your thoughts on baseball and this game. How about those Rays real life? Just crazy! Have outscored opponents 101-30. Imagine if we did that on the game? Lol

Giving these a shot in a test franchise until some bigger patches come out.
So far very fun. I’m enjoying the Quick counts, it sort of makes me feel like the pitch clock in a sense of being ready to swing and focusing on count. I placed presentation mode in Hybrid and CPU pitch delay to faster to better replicate the “pitch clock”
I’m playing complete clean screen, auto fielding, auto baserunning, and the game plays amazing.
I appreciate the statistical approach and R&D you guys took creating these.

I have a few questions
What pitch speed are you guys using? I’m good on timing and want I to be on the edge of my seat a bit more.
I see you mentioned dynamic difficult for AS+, is that for last years game or this years? I ask because I see All Star listed for hitting and pitching difficulty.

Thanks for trying our sliders. We hope you enjoy them. Steve is using pitch speeds at 6 and I’m still on 5. But it all depends on how well you can read the pitches and your TV. I have tried 6 but I get too swing happy at 6 thinking I need to try to catch up to that fastball and end up being early.

Last year we did use dynamic and then end up locking in on Allstar. So this year we just stared on Allstar. But you could use dynamic these would work great on that as well.

We are using the full minors V1 but I heard good things about v2. But live rosters are good too this year out of the box. Just have to add Tatis and the Japanese players if you want them.

I’m interested to check out the fidelity to reality rosters that are supposed to be released this weekend.

I reverted back to pitch speeds at 5 lol. I may go back up to 6 though once I get some data on the human hitting sliders we have now. I may hit a bit too high average but we'll see. I know I still strike out enough lol. Timing at 0 creates a really nice balance for the user with higher contact slider. Really enjoying this game right now.

Yeah……if the Rays start happened in The Show we’d probably all adjust the sliders.

The Cardinals are a fun team this year. I love hitting with Walker.
