I agree entirely about the hits feeling weaker with fidelity. Which rosters are you using currently? Finally ready to start a non test franchise and would like your recommendation on your favorite roster set to run with. Thanks!

I am rolling with a roster called Full Minors 1.0. The name is like WIZ or something. I have also added the Tatis with the 3 year stats and saved that roster in the vault. I can't remember the exact name but it should be something like S and B. Or you can search my username bryanm1982

There is another one that is good called Full Minors 2.0. I'm not sure if it is the same person or not.

Lisac dropped a new roster as well. I think he's helping with Ridin's rosters? I haven't tried that but the Full Minors 1.0 or 2.0 is very good. Probably as good as you are going to get without waiting for Ridin's roster.

I'm currently running with Lisac's rosters, they are pretty good (imo)

For the people that are seeing overpowering CPU offense, what are you seeing? Are they hitting too many home runs? Too many doubles? I know some of you said that a lot of them are two-out rallies.

Take a look again when you get a chance and let me know who it is and I'll check it out.

It was literally the entire starting 9.

I must have checked 15 x's during the game, and each time the d-pad C&P attributes never lined up with the player card C&P attributes.

Maybe it was just a one-off glitch?

Not going to sweat it.....I assume those attributes should be the same regardless of how I am accessing the data (except when men are on base).

Okay, just finished another test game, this time doing the freeway series against the Angels.

This was a game I was able to pull out even though I went down 2-0 in the first, the reason I pull out? is because Ohtani is on the mound, early on it was tough to hit him due to me striking out 8 times....lol

He was finally vulnerable as in the 3rd inning he gave up 5 runs including a 3 run shot by Muncy, but what I thought was strange was the cpu pulled him in the 5th inning at 73 pitches.

I mean he wasn't having THAT bad of a game to where I thought he should have been pulled and from what I remember he wasn't gassed....just thought it was strange.

Also I finished the game with 11 hits to the Angels 8, with Urias only able to strike out 4 Angels...lol

Just wanted to pitch only for two teams vs two good offenses with OP set. Change it up from Guardians only just to see if I felt overpowered as some are feeling.

I really don't feel or see any difference. I struck out Cardinals 14 times still. Only got Dodgers 4 times. Tons of groundball outs with the sinker from Montgomery. Urias had 9k in 5.2ip, but gave up a couple homeruns on 6 hits. Here is the line score. And again I pitched for both teams. Dodgers had 4 hits after 7 innings. 1, 2, 3 8th. Leadoff double by Freeman in the 9th, then two ground outs and a strike out to end the game on J.D. Martinez chasing a low slider.

Cardinals hit a 2 out homerun in the 8th. Then a 2 out double. This is where I think people get in trouble. They try to force that pitcher to get the last out. I yank him out and got the 3rd out right away before they really put the hammer to me. Even though Cardinals were up 4-0, no reason to chance them going up 6 or 7-0. No matter the score, you can not give mentally up on this game cause the cpu will not let up. I've been there, and it is extremely frustrating. Just treat every out as important as the last out and you'll be fine overall.

Maybe you guys having trouble are just going through a bad stretch. I just worry if you drop contact you're going to get those cheesy strikeouts. I had 14ks this game on St Louis with their contact at 9. Love that I only got 4 vs the Dodgers. So the variety is there now where we have it. But as said before. Tweak things to make the game fun for you. Last thing you want is to play a video game and never be able to have fun. Just wanted to share this though!

But any trade I make for him I feel like I’m cheesing the CPU cause I’m comparing to real life. Like realistically, Angels aren’t going to trade him in April.

I have a Mariners franchise going and I could trade him to the Mariners but it just wouldn’t feel real.

But it is funny, I have been playing the show every year and I have probably only hit with Trout a handful of games. I think I used the Angels in one of my test games.

lol, yea I was actually worried going into this game, I wanted to face Ohtani and see if he was as tough as advertised, early on I felt like I had made the wrong decision as I couldn't get anything going.

Then he made the mistake pitch to Muncy and gave up the 3 run shot and next thing I knew he was gone in the 5th....lol

As far as Trout goes, his speed in center robbed a few of my hits, on the base paths he was just as dangerous and don't get me started on his hitting, lets just say my pitch totals went up when he was at the plate, there was no way I was going to give up the long ball so I was very careful pitching to him.....lol

I wish I could get that many strikeouts at any given time, now maybe when I pitch with Kershaw my total will go up, but as far as getting the totals you get? no way in hell am I even close....lol

As far as the sliders go, I'm done with adjusting anything....the game plays amazingly well for me right now, so no tweaking for me...lol

Oh I know exactly what you mean about those guys, that's the thing about these sliders though, is I have to be careful whenever I pitch as that crucial hit could come from anybody now, and I totally dig that.

I should have hook set at 3, I'll have to give it a look when I jump back on...I'll report back later when I check.

Yeah the game is playing for me personally about the best I can ask for in regards to my pitching vs cpu offense. Only thing I'm unsure on is my hitting might be too good and I'm hitting for too high an average. Going to try solid hits at 3 for a while and see how it goes. Hopefully I don't go on a massive losing streak lol.
