Yea that's really odd that you didn't notice any difference, I completely believe what you are saying, it just felt that when using the fidelity rosters the "fear" was no longer there from the cpu, as soon as I used another roster file I was getting hammered and hammered early...lmao the power and "fear" was back again...hell I don't know...lol

I assume these were the same games and same pitchers between the different rosters?

You could try foul frequency at 0 and see if that does anything. Might not. But you’ll just want to use a roster that will be fun for you. There really isn’t a bad roster unless you going to play 10-20 full seasons lol.

The Marlins beat me 5-1 on 15 hits.

The next game I was cruising leading 3-0 and they tied it up 3-3 in the 6th. I was up 5-4 in the 9th and they tied it.

I finally beat them 6-5 in 11 innings.

No easy wins this year. Wow.

Ya know....I didn't even think to do that, I was just curious when I played the last game against the Cubs without the edits in the roster.

Hell I can't even remember WHO I played now with those rosters, it may have been the Mets and Cubs (sorry bad memory) ,but what I do remember was having the feeling of "lazy" fly outs and "weak" ground outs.

Is this a glitch, or am I missing something.

I played a test game today (inside of franchise mode), and saw something strange throughout the game.

Whenever I checked a batters hitting attributes (contact and power), their player card showed different attributes then when I accessed the same data by pressing D pad up or to the right.

If it's supposed to be like that, which data should I go off of?

FYI, the attributes posted in the player card profile was always higher then the ones i see by pressing D pad.

I’m seeing that too. Wonder if we could go down to CPU control 5 and consistency 7. I’ll test it out.

Just lower their contact until you feel comfortable with their offense. I'm really not seeing any difference. Cpu is definitely a huge challenge with these sliders as intended, but nothing wrong with tweaking these for your own needs and liking.

Their consistency probably can't be 10. Yes we will get hbp again, but something we'll have to live with. I've always left their control/consistency at 5/5 yearly anyway.

I thought it was just me. The two games I played today they absolutely raked. 16 hits and 14 hits. These sliders played PERFECTLY before the update and they had to go and ruin everything. Ugh.

The CPU offense is not playing that BS this year.
Whatever reliever you bring in had better be hitting the corners and staying down in the zone or else because the CPU is sitting on those hanging pitches.

In my franchise I am 9 games in and have only played the Marlins and Brewers. I can only imagine what the more talented teams will be like to play against.

The Marlins have been one hell of a match principally because they have like 3 left handed starters that are all one after another in the rotation.
You can't put out your regular lineup for 3 straight games you gotta try to put in hitters suited for lefties. Then they bring in a right handed reliever and you are all messed up with a lineup tailored to lefties.

Any pro sports game is all about matchups and the Marlins are a good match for the Mets.

I won't play them again until the last month of the season and I am glad to get them gone.
