Are you using version 2 where we moved pitch control back to default?

If so keep soldiering. I had a horrendous month with my Yankees Year 1 and am now settling down in the month of June.

15-4 in my last 19 and my pitching is a big reason. Also don't be afraid to walk guys.

The ebbs and flows are insane and the sliders are tough no doubt.

The CPU is formidable. Especially very good offensive teams!

Yeah, I was using version 2 with default pitch control.

I'll keep grinding. This last game when they had 24 hits I left my LHR in there to eat some innings in a blowout and he gave up a 7 run 11 hit inning. But looking back, they were hitting the first pitch and had like 6 hits in a row. Those are the times I just need to take a breath and slow down instead of getting frustrated.

To the guys struggling with pitching make sure to try to get ahead in the count early to build your pitchers confidence in riches and throw out of the zone more when you get ahead.

I have a bad habit of always trying to throw a strike too and it backfires. This game plays true to life so you have to get ahead in the count on both sides of the ball to have a chance

Is Shwarber cracked in this game or what �� through 20 games 10 HRs .256 average. Love the sliders armor.

Which roster set are you guys using for 2024 season? I’m sure there are several good ones, but would like to use a very accurate roster set. I think Armour said he is using MrMet2488 and I see he has an updated March 2nd roster.

I’m ready to start my season, but wondering if I should wait for an opening day roster. But it will be hard to wait for another month!!

Armor, I am sure struggling on pitching with the Braves pitching staff that is supposed to be a better staff. Don’t know if it is a rut or not but in the last 20 games they are hitting .339 and averaging 13 hits a game. The lowest was 8 and that was against the Athletics. This last game the Dbacks had 24 hits. They are mostly killing me with doubles and singles.

I have tried to lower cpu power to 5 but I feel like that makes their ball off the bat too weak. I have tried lowering solid hits to 4 but it feels off. Tried raising my consistency to 6 bit I feel like I hit my spots too often.

Any ideas on what can tone down their offense without breaking their offense?

Really enjoying this slider set. The CPU can be such a challenge at times. Early season series, Yankees and Phillies, the Phillies were such a challenge. Not only do they have a good lineup, they have speed. If they got on base, they were running!!

Are you playing every pitch or using quick counts?

MrMet for me too. Loving the game. Have played almost 40 games between spring trading and reg season with the Yanks and I am struggling to say the least. Some key injuries but loving every minute of it

I like his rosters. I’m just debating on whether or not to wait for opening day rosters. I am going to have both a Yankees franchise and a Phillies franchise. They play each other in the 2nd week of the season. It will be fun playing this series from both sides!

Relief pitcher stamina, starting pitcher stamina and CPU manager hook as in how fast the CPU manager will pull their pitcher

If there’s one slider that I see so many people adjust is the foul frequency. I’ve never touched it. Most likely due to me never really having a true understanding of what it actually does. I know there’s differing opinions on it so what is your understanding of it?

It determines borderline hits down the foul lines drifting foul or staying fair as well as lasers hit down the lined etc.

A very powerful slider when used properly to balance the game offensively.

I prefer zone hitting. So far so good with these sliders but I am only 9 games in. Zone hitting is so much different than directional and timing do you think the sliders work the same for the user offensively?

With clean screen how do you know what pitch correlates to what button on the ps5? Also how do I know where the catcher wants me to aim? Sometimes I see him tap his glove but a lot of times he does nothing.
