Re: Rmiok222 MLB 24 Directional/Classic HOF Sliders
I do actually. When I’m pulling I usually am going up and towards the batter. I also put the analog stick up if I’m trying to avoid hitting into a double play. The only time I try to hit the ball on the ground is if I’m trying to execute a hit and run.
I just played the mariners this morning and hit 4 homeruns

Hey! Really sorry for the very late response.
I let the catcher call 80% I’d say. I won’t throw a fastball if he calls for it high and away for example. I also almost always go for a knockout pitch when there is two strikes.

I actually do auto fielding and auto throwing. I know that’s not for everybody but I enjoy the animations it gives. Timing would be just fine in my opinion.

I’m looking for some advice here on classic pitching. I’ve always used meter but went classic to go with the sliders. I can’t hit the strike zone to save my life. Even with elite pitchers they miss the aim spot wildly. I’m talking like aiming a fastball low inside corner and missing by 6 inches to the outside. And not just on occasion. I get missing the spot sometimes. But it’s basically every pitch is that wild.Last edited by Xcavs31x; 08-31-2024, 05:03 PM.Comment

Other factors matter too, like if the pitcher is having a bad inning, he may start to lose some control.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

A lot has to do with the control attribute of your pitcher and his BB/9 attribute. The higher those attributes, the higher percentage of time they'll hit that spot where you aimed it. They won't hit it every time, but a higher percentage of time.
