Infield throwing errors up to 8.

Everything else is playing out great. Started my O’s franchise, will post some stats when we get a better sample size.

Outfield arm strength down to 4.

Too many close plays at second on what should be easy doubles.

These sliders are great! I’ve been basically a default with minor adjustments guy for many years but your fielding sliders and that +1 to CPU solid hits really make a difference. Solid work!
For my own sanity I did make a few small tweaks to Human pitching sliders. Put control to 5 and consistency to 3. Everything else I’ve kept the way you have them.

Had a crazy game last night in my Orioles franchise against the Brewers.

Lost my starter in the third inning to arm tightness. The bullpen goes 5+ scoreless and we enter the 9th with a 1-0 lead.

Kimbrel proceeds to blow his third save of the season and we go to the bottom of the ninth tied 1-1.

After Orioles can’t score in the 9th, Brewers have 1st and 3rd with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the top of the 10th. Jackson Churio hits a slow roller down the third base line that hits off the bag and there’s no play at first, Brewers lead 2-1.

Orioles start the bottom of the 10th with Cedric Mullins on second, score still at 2-1. Second pitch of the inning is wild and Mullins takes third. Cowser at the plate, hits a hard ground ball to a drawn in Brice Turang at second. We decide to send Cedric anyways because of his great speed. He barely beats out the tag and O’s tie the game 2-2. Orioles manage to get first and second with 2 outs but leave the winning run stranded on second and we go to the 11th.

First batter in the bottom of the 11th is Willy Adames. With the ghost runner on second, Adames takes the first pitch he sees and deposits it in the away team bullpen. After only seeing 1 run scored, combined, the first 8 innings, there had now been 5 runs scored over the last 2+ innings.

Orioles can’t get anything across in the bottom half of the 11th and Brewers win 4-2, one hell of a game. A game I wasn’t ashamed or mad about losing at all. Except the fact that I used every single guy in my bullpen but 1. Which means the rest of the series we’re gonna be behind the 8 ball.

Really loving this game right now. Baseball is the best.

Haha I don’t blame you at all for raising pitch control. There’s definitely some pull your hair out moments when your best pitcher just can’t find the strike zone. But it does happen IRL so I don’t mind. Plus those games where you hold the CPU to 1 run on 4 hits feel so damn good knowing what they’re capable of.

Definitely have to choose your battles with the increased CPU offense. I just finished a series against the Yankees (I’m a lifelong Yankees fan but I hate playing as them so I’m using the Orioles because of their young talent) and Soto and Judge ripped me apart. I had to take my chances and pitch around Soto a few times to pitch to Stanton. Thankfully Stanton did Stanton things and struck out 3 times and hit into a DP the other.

So are you using directional or timed hitting?

I use directional but very rarely use the influence. They should work the same with timing.

This set is really good. I am now using them in my Reds season. Great work!

Really enjoying these sliders and settings. First time rolling with a clean screen. Question though..How do you view pitcher stamina without using up a mound visit?

Press up on the d-pad. Then go to substitutions. The pitchers stamina bar will be at the top right.

I’m using the default SDS roster from opening day. Roster shouldn’t make much of a difference in this game since there’s very few attributes and sliders. A game like NBA 2K matters a lot more.

I think you can also press R2. It should show you the pitch history of the current at bat plus your pitcher’s stamina and confidence.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. But this only works when you have show pitch types and confidence on. If you play clean screen, with nothing on it, this is unfortunately the only way to see the pitchers stamina. You can’t see his confidence meters at all unless you do a mound visit when playing with a clean screen.
