The Blue Jays took a 1-0 lead against Lucas Giolito on a RBI single by Bo Bichette in the top of the 1st but the Red Sox responded with a pair of runs off of Kevin Gausman in the bottom of the 1st to take a 2-1 lead. The Red Sox jumped all over Gausman in the bottom of the 2nd scoring a pair of runs before Trevor Story crushed a 448 foot blast that cleared the green monster seats in left-center for a 3-run HR putting Boston up 7-1 and sending Gausman to an early shower with 1 out in the top of the 2nd as Tommy Nance took over on the mound and we would head to the 3rd inning with Boston out to an early 7-1 lead. Giolito was pitching well for Boston and the Sox continued to pour it on against Blue Jays pitching as the lead was up to 9-1 before Alex Bregman and Trevor Story each hit solo HR in the bottom of the 5th and we would move to the 6th inning with the Red Sox leading 11-1. Ty France launched a 2-run HR in the top of the 6th cutting the deficit to 11-3. The Red Sox answered as Jarren Duran belted a solo HR in the bottom of the 7th pushing the lead back to 10 runs at 13-3. Greg Weissert took over for Giolito and pitched scoreless frames in the bottom of the 8th & 9th innings to finish off a 13-3 Red Sox victory

- GAME NOTES
* The Red Sox crush the Blue Jays 13-3 extending their winning streak to 9 games as the Red Sox are now 12-1 in their last 13 games and remain in 1st place in the AL East with a 5 game lead over the 2nd place New York Yankees
* The Red Sox put up 13 runs on 19 hits in the ball game and were led by:- Trevor Story went 2 for 5 with 2 HR & 5 RBI and is now hitting .231 with 10 HR & 32 RBI on the season
- Jarren Duran finished a double shy of the cycle as he went 3 for 5 with a single, triple, HR & 2 RBI and 1 stolen base. Duran is now hitting .334 with 10 HR 44 RBI on the season with a league leading 29 steals
- Alex Bregman went 3 for 5 with a HR & 3 RBI and is hitting .295 with 19 HR &54 RBI on the season
- Roman Anthony went 3 for 6 with 2 doubles & 1 RBI and continues the outstanding start to his MLB career as the 21 year old Anthony is now hitting .360 with 2 HR & 21 RBI in XXXX games since being promoted to the major leagues
- Lucas Giolito is healthy for the first time continues to pitch well as he went 7 innings allowing 3 runs on 7 hits with 1 walk & 6 Ks to earnt he win and improve to 5-1 with a 4.36 ERA
- The Blue Jays were led by Ty France who went 2 for 4 with a HR & 2 RBI and France has homered each of the first 2 games of the series. France is now hitting .223 with 11 HR & 34 RBI on the season
- The Red Sox and Blue Jays will play the finale of this 3 game series at Fenway Park tomorrow when Boston sends Walker Buehler to the mound while Toronto will have Max Scherzer getting the start as the Blue Jays
