Just looking at the last week, the average in MLB has been 2.3 new players on the IL per day (last Sunday was the last day no one went on the IL).
I'm trying injuries at 6, but I've turned MLB Injury Management on for CPU teams and putting anyone who has an injury for a "few days" on the IL myself ("one or two days" can stay on the bench).

Are the following settings correct on the opening page?
CPU Control: 4
CPU Consistency: 4
CPU Strike Frequency: 4
We are still on HOF pitching correct? No chance I’m going to legend lolLeave a comment:

Looking for feedback. It may be placebo, but it feels like solid hits, in general have decreased since the release of the game. I'm gonna try pitching on legend with 5 solid hits to the CPU. I used to have games where I'd give up crooked numbers and double digit runs, but those have vanished. Also, how is everyones power numbers looking?

I could be way off on this but I don’t know if it maybe you change a setting like you did going to legend and had some good challenging games, if the game eventually balances out and then the pitchers go on hot streaks which makes their offense get weaker for a stretch.

I did notice that too with solid hits feeling weaker. I am wondering if that was why we all felt the need to try legend? I’m wondering if we did 6/4/5/4/5 on HOF if that would help if you wanted to stay on HOF.👍 1Leave a comment:

I'm curious from S&B's perspective whether the jump to Legend is needed. I've compared Hall of Fame and Legend and feel like on Legend there are way more strikeouts, but also a lot of singles and HRs causing a lot of offense.
HoF has less singles but more BBs which eventually leads to a 2 out HR. My team era is 4.43, 3rd worst in the MLB as HOU. I know our pitching staff is not the best but Brown has been struggling as he's a K best right now irl.
Also I noticed after 2 strikes, I throw meatballs even though I aim far outside the strike zone.
Need to mention that I typically use suggested pitching, but will throw my own pitches when I see fit.Leave a comment:

I have been testing sim injuries at 6 and I see a player go on the 15 day DL about every other day.Leave a comment:

Sim Injuries at 5 seems a bit low. Into May and June, I saw there were only 35-40 MLB players injured at any given time. That's less than 1½ players per team. There are currently 231 players on the IL irl. Now some of those are pre-existing injuries, but 114 of those are 10/15 Day IL.Leave a comment:

I’m thinking about making a new thread later with the sliders I’m using.

Not gonna lie, I am so damn confused at this point with all these different changes, I don't know what's what at this point...lol👍 1Leave a comment:

Just had 3 of my most fun games using the settings from the previous post. Unless there’s some drastic game play changes in future patches I’m rolling with these for the foreseeable future.

Starting with user contact and going down the slider screen in order here’s what I’m using:
User: 5-4-7-4-3-7-6-5-5

The rest: 5-5-7-7-7-5-2-6-4-5-5-4-6-6-random wind using #generator-9-5-5
