Yeah, I would for now. I’m going to play a couple more games to iron the new sliders out.

Thanks, man. And you are still recommending the sliders in the OP with Franchise Fidelity roster set, right?

The method I use for playing out my games is: I do all the pitching (classic), with auto fielding. On Offense, I only hit with the SS (Zone), otherwise, when I'm on offense I change the setting to CPU v. CPU

My question: Will my method work with your sliders if I am effectively playing half the game ME v CPU and other half CPU v. CPU?

    Thanks in advance!
That’s a good question. I would say yes since you pay a little more than half the game. If you quick manager, You might just want to lower CPU stamina. I know when I quick manage during testing ther energy doesn’t go down that much.

Played one game with these new AI generated sliders, the game played nice… I'm much looking forward to seeing what tweaks you are working on✌🏻

Had to make a few adjustments to get the numbers in line. I want to play a few more games before I make any updates.

Here is what it said after my 12th game. I won 14-12

    Cumulative stats (12 games)

Here are the updated cumulative stats for both the CPU and human player after adding the results from your latest game (Game 12), with your new Human Power and Solid Hits settings.
    Cumulative CPU Stats
    • Total AB: 368 + 36 = 404
    • Total Hits: 98 + 12 = 110
    • Batting Average: 110/404 = .272 (previously .266)
    • BABIP: (110 Hits - 20 HR) / (404 AB - 118 K - 20 HR + 6 SF) = 90 / 272 = .331 (previously .331)
    • Singles: 68 (60 + 8) = 61.8% of hits
    • Doubles: 22 (21 + 1) = 20.0% of hits
    • Triples: 0 (0%)
    • Home Runs: 20 (17 + 3) = 18.2% of hits
    • Walks: 38 (29 + 9) = 3.2 per game (previously 2.6)
    • Strikeouts: 118 (111 + 7) = 9.8 per game (previously 10.1)
    • Sac Flies: 6 (5 + 1)
    Cumulative Human Stats
    • Total AB: 382 + 35 = 417
    • Total Hits: 107 + 13 = 120
    • Batting Average: 120/417 = .288 (previously .280)
    • BABIP: (120 Hits - 17 HR) / (417 AB - 92 K - 17 HR + 2 SF) = 103 / 310 = .332 (previously .329)
    • Singles: 76 (69 + 7) = 63.3% of hits
    • Doubles: 22 (21 + 1) = 18.3% of hits
    • Triples: 2 = 1.7% of hits
    • Home Runs: 17 (12 + 5) = 14.2% of hits
    • Walks: 29 (22 + 7) = 2.4 per game (previously 2.0)
    • Strikeouts: 92 (83 + 9) = 7.7 per game (previously 7.5)
    • Sac Flies: 2
    Analysis of Game 12 Results
    • CPU: The CPU's walk rate has surged to a very realistic level, now averaging over 3 walks per game. This shows the effectiveness of the low Human Pitch Control combined with the recent CPU Contact increase and Foul Frequencyadjustment. The strikeout rate has also dropped below 10 per game, which is much more realistic. However, the batting average and power output were high in this game. We should monitor this to see if it was a statistical outlier or a recurring trend.
    • Human: Your changes have brought your walk rate up and your strikeout rate is approaching a more realistic average. However, your batting average remains high, and the 5 home runs in one game are a significant outlier, especially with your low Power and Solid Hits sliders. This could indicate that the CPU pitcher you were facing had very low ratings, or that you were simply making excellent contact in key situations.
    Next steps
    • CPU: The CPU sliders seem to be working well, producing realistic walks and strikeouts over a larger sample size. We should continue to monitor their average and power output. No immediate changes are needed for the CPU sliders, as the results of one game may be an outlier.
    • Human: The 5 home runs in one game are a concern. This is likely a statistical outlier, but if it happens again, we may need to adjust your Power or Solid Hits settings further. For now, continue to monitor your average and strikeout rate.
Continue playing with your current sliders and report back after a few more games. We can then make any necessary adjustments to fine-tune the human hitting experience.

Just wanted to give everybody an update. I thought I would try to utilize AI for some slider help. Which is really cool because I give AI my game stats every game for the CPU and Human. I told AI that I want the stats like batting average, babip, hit distribution to be close to MLB averages. After every game, I type out my stats for each game and it tracks each game and gives me a total.

It tells me what my new batting average is for the total games and what it was. It will give me my strikeouts per game and walks per game with my hit distribution. It will tell me if my average is too high or low or that my strikeouts are too high or low. It will give me suggestions on what slider to change and the new setting. I am playing my 2nd year spring training so I'm testing these out in spring training and I'm getting really close to good numbers.

They had me start at CPU contact at 7 and my strikeouts were about 11 per game. The last game it told me that my numbers are really good and that we are now working on getting more walks. A couple of games ago they had me raise contact at 9 (which is what we have) and my numbers are getting better and it will tell me that the strikeout numbers are now getting close to the MLB average.

It is almost like a slider assistant. I even had one game where I only struck out 4 and they even said that they want to make sure it isn't a fluke or if that is the new sliders working. This is what she gave me so far.

    Human
    Contact: 4
    Power: 4
    Timing: 5
    Foul Frequency: 6
    Solid Hits: 2
    Human Pitch Control: 1
    Human Pitch Consistency: 4

    CPU
    Contact: 9
    Power: 4
    Timing: 5
    Foul Frequency: 7
    Solid Hits: 2
    CPU Pitch Control: 2
    CPU Pitch Consistency: 4

I'm not ready to make a new version quite yet. I'm going to keep plugging in the numbers and see how it goes. But just wanted to share that I've had a really fun time working with AI on a slider set and if you are struggling with an aspect of the game, I'd suggest trying Google Deep Dive and type out the sliders you are using and what you are struggling with.

Maybe contact by 1. Or maybe raise pitch speed if you want.

or you could stay on HOF and lower pitch speed if you want.

I'm playing as LAA, so a pretty decent power hitting team. But I definitely hit way too many home runs. Is it better to lower the human power slider, or, a combo of things?

Errors: there's basically no errors. I have something like 10 errors in 130ish games, despite LAA having a below average defense. Which of the error sliders should I increase?

I really like how the injury sliders made a big impact on the game. However I did lower it to 9 because I was losing someone every like 3-4 games. I wish there was a slider for 'minor injuries' and a slider for 'major injuries'.
I would lower power slider to get less home runs. I would say maybe 3-4.

Errors are really weird like every year. You can raise them to 10 and probably not see a difference. And if you raise fielder errors, it will affect like their infielder dives. I would probably raise IF throwing errrors.

for hitting, I’m personally using 6/4/5/3/3 for my hitting. But with hitting, it really depends on how everyone can read and see the pitches.

I am trying User Pitcher Control at 4 to get the pitchers for wilf to get more walks.

I played most of the year with control and consistency at 5. My strike percentage was 66%. The mlb average is 65% I think. But my first pitch strike percentage was 66% and mlb average is 57%.
Using exact sliders VS CPU but global user settings im 6-0 in the 3rd hou vs cle.

I used nomo17k sliders but he disappeared since 2018 I still use a version but feel there maybe outdated now still feel they play fine, but games drastically changed since then.

Even though nomo17k was for only CPU VS CPU I still used them for head 2 head we dont play the CPU and have had great success.

I'm curious to maybe start using your set so since u have played a full 162 on your sets and versions could you tell me if u had to play or suggest could u please recommend slider numbers I prefer global sliders but doesn't matter as we don't play CPU it's all human stats.

I'm considering plugging in all your human side numbers and trying them out. Or who using what u have for CPU be to high?

One of the biggest issues is lately pitches have sailed way out of targets intended area on a high rate we use classic pitching and know how it works used it for about 15 years. One hand want realistic strike % then again pitch accuracy gets bad since patch 25.

I'm gonna plug your OP sliders in a test league and see what we get.

    Thanks bud
