in 3 games they hit .220 with 4 HR.

I think it might be the rosters we are using that is making the difference.
Did that series give you a good feel with the 9/5/5/5/4 or did it feel lifeless? .220 seems a little low, but 4 HR and 28K seems close to normal for 3 games.

ahh ... i use meter pitching. i wonder if that's the difference. I have all rotation and staff's pitching action on lockdown and green time most pitches - i reckon more than 75% per game.

HOWEVER, pitchers who are mostly average, like 75 or lower, CPU contact at 10 really makes it difficult to for those average pitchers to have any decent amount of success, like an ERA lower than 6 seems impossible, unless its just a pitching slump but I don't think so. For that reason I am probably going to drop my CPU contact to 9 for awhile, since my staff overall ratings have taken a hit recently and the CPU is just killing me. I'm not suggesting we make an adjustment for this slider set, but I do think dropping CPU contact a notch in order to have some realistic results isn't a terrible idea depending on the quality of your pitching staff. I think Bryan is pitching with the Dodgers, who have an amazing pitching staff. Thoughts?

that kind of diversity, i haven't been able to see much of, on HOF.

Yeah, it is hard. I'm actually on pitch speed 4. I was actually on 3 at one time because it felt like I could take pitches and get more walks being at 3. But I was pulling a lot of stuff and probably hitting the ball too good. Now at 4, I am getting more slap hits the other way from being behind on the pitch. But then makes me mad when I'm way late on a fastball and I look at the speed and it was only 93 mph. LOL

But I get what you are saying. Any variance off the original set makes you think you are fleecing the CPU. Settng up pitching sliders is a lot easier cause we just mostly push a button so everything is the same for everybody. Hitting, everybody is different with their TV, camera, age, reflexes, eyesight, and ability.

Pitch speed, hitting camera etc. I get it and understand why it’s important and why it’s so often recommended. I can’t hit on default pitch speeds. I can’t. I have to turn them up to get anything in variety in hits and scoring. I’m very much attached to “well that’s what listed in the OP so that’s what I should do “ as if it’s cheating or something. Case in point was with my franchise this year with Cleveland. I probably for half the season used Armor’s sliders and S&B for the other half. I blamed the pitch speed for not being able to hit with Armor when in reality it was the camera. if I had just changed the camera I’m sure things would’ve been fine. Same with this set. Using default or four pitch speed when in reality I needed to turn them up. I don’t know why I do this. But I need to stop. And now I feel better lol.
Yeah I think with pitch speeds its definitely based on a few factors. The TV/monitor is a big factor for sure. Then comes the camera being used. Then comes user ability to quickly or slowly read the pitch, etc. I don't believe there should be any shame in lowering pitch speeds, or raising them. It's not like you're raising user power to 10 lol. You're just looking for realistic results.
