    Re: SOTS PS4 Starter Pack

I get it. So if I choose team win, I'd have to go to whatever the minute stamp in the file labeled pregame/win/loss, and tell it to start it there for that slot?
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

There's a twitch stream of them doing it. I believe it's titled "Little Things" or something of that nature.

Cruise had the best suggestion. If you have MLB 15 it has a Sots section that uses the music Sony provided and you cant import music but it's a good way to mess around with how the system will work.

There's also a tutorial in last gen's SotS section.

As per the example, RBI, HR1, HR2 at Yankee Stadium:

You will split the tracks within SotS. There is silence between each event/player per single track. Sliders allow separation from one section to the next creating 3 separate events per track. I am trying to find a video online showing how it's done but to no avail so far. If anyone has a link showing how it had been done in the past that would be great, because it makes more sense when you actually see what was done. It really is easy, just time consuming if you want every team done.

Yes. They are labeled by player, as well as multiple tracks if a player has more than one choice.

Makes perfect sense. Checked it out on mlb 15. I needed someone to help me, because I can't read small print. I have every show menu memorized, accept the ones for sots!

lowlighthabit has no more bandwidth for box so we are in the midst of switching over to google drive which should be up tomorow. you could download the AL pack from 4shared on the OP. The only changes however was that I made all the volumes match so they will be consistent in game

I just have a quick question if anyone can answer it. I didn't play MLBTS on PS3 so I'm new to Sounds of the Show. How is the music saved? I'm assuming the walk up songs/cheers/jeers for individual players are saved in the roster. Are the stadium specific sounds saved in that way as well? I'm just curious if I have to wait until OSFM rosters drop before I can assign music to players and stadiums. Thanks in advance.

Basically how it works as far as I believe.

                        Download files

                        Put files on USB stick

                        Plug USB stick into ps4

Go to sots menu in MLB the show 16
There will be a menu to see all the files on the USB stick so first step is to go thru each file 1 by 1 adding cues to each file. There are three songs on each file and the game allows three cues per file. This step takes some time.

Once that is done you can go into the sots menu again and there will be a section to assign the cues you made to different team sounds. You only have to do this step once because I believe all game modes will use what you've set up.

After that you can either set player walk ups and reliever entrances or cheers and jeers by either thru a menu in sots or edit player in the roster screens. You have to go player by player and select the cues you set. Again very time consuming.

Very important note here though and it will answer your OSFM Roster question. Anything you do using the default roster will keep what you set in any mode as long as you start a new franchise or RTTS after you set the player sounds. If you download a different roster(such as OSFM) or roster updates you will have to redo the last step of assigning cues to the players.

This does leave a dillema of waiting to do this after OSFM is released.

Here's my plan. As soon as I get the game I'm going to set all the cues and assign the music to the teams. For the player songs I'm going to assign them to my team the jays. Then I will start a temporary franchise until OSFM drops. Then before I start a road series which ever team it is I will set their player music before our first game. It limits me doing a whole lot of work for nothing and it also is less intimidating assigning cues in short spurts as opposed to all at once.

Is there a way to only download the stadium sounds for each team from y'all's work (fantastic job BTW, this is awesome)? I'm not interested in doing player walk ups and such.

Thanks that clears it up for me. I wish the whole process wasn't so tedious. But I'm all about realism so it's fine. Nice to know I can hopefully get some stuff done before OSFM. Btw thanks for putting all the walkups/sounds together. You guys did a great job.

So everything is tied to the roster I'm using? If I download a roster update none of the player cues will stay? If that's the case it might not even be worth doing for me. Unless I'm misunderstanding something.

                                Re: SOTS PS4 Starter Pack

I'm busy putting together a pack based on these walkup songs, team stadium songs and my previous pack that I used in 13. It's in essence all the walkup songs in these packs put together with all the team specific stadium songs of my previous pack and then some updates to the stadium songs off course.

There are filler songs off course and there are some minor errors. I don't have all the knowledge to know which songs are played after which inning so sometimes I just label it 3rd inning. You can obviously just put it in the right slot though.

Would anyone be interested in a pack like this? Could upload and share a download link here if so? Don't want any credit, but it could be a very good base to start from and make some updates on.

Should be done by the end of the week.
