What about the team music? Will those have to be re-edited with different roster files, or will they stick like with the players?

Nope you only edit team sounds once they carry over every mode and roster.


I was inputing music and found an error in the angels pack. the simmons heaney cron file and the one right before it with trout(cant remember exactly what it was called)were messed up so i fixed and updated OP.

Great news. Thanks for all the work you guys are putting in! SOTS is one of the things I'm most looking forward to.

Hey again. Maybe I'm missing something. But in the game there is only 1 slot for home run, 1 slot for walks, 1 slot for stolen bases you get the point. Does that mean we can only pick 1 of the numerous options you've given for each stadium? Or are we supposed to apply them to the numerous players which would be a pain when trades happen

Yes and up to you. Player's HR song precedes over the team one if he has one assigned, same with RP entrances. I've asked (and I'm not the only one) for there to be more slots for team stuff or let us select out of a playlist (or play something random from it).

You guys are just amazing! From the legit rosters and the amount of work that goes into that to make every team right. To this getting all the stadium and player sounds. It is much appreciated and thank you all for the hard work putting these together. I never did a sounds of the show before, so I'm excited. I will read through this forum to learn how to upload everything and set it up for the game. But just wanted to say thank you to everyone for doing this!

You only need to apply them to the team and you will hear it every time there is a home-run, walk, etc. Only apply them to the player if they have specific Home-run music which I am not sure if this pack includes them.

I have a question concerning the duration of the audio clips and how they are used in the game. I would imagine for the batter walk ups, the game will only be playing about 5-7 seconds of the audio clip even if the clip is 1 or more minutes long? But what does the game do for audio clips heard let's say in between innings? Example of that I guess would be the Red Sox play Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" at the start of the bottom of the 8th inning or the Yankees play a number of different songs in between a number of innings. Does the game play the entire audio clip in these cases? or does it only play the very beginning of the audio clip kind of how the default 7th inning stretch does not even come close to playing the entire song?

The batter walkups are set to :45 seconds.

The pitchers entrances are at 2:45.

Most, if not all, of the team stadium sounds are pre-done in terms of length. I believe every inning song is a complete song. As far as the game playing the entire song, hopefully cujomatty can tell us since he has had it over the entire weekend. I would say it will depending on how your gameplay stettings are done, but I won't know for sure until tomorrow.

Id like confirmation on this as well. Im fairly certain the game will only play 5-10 second clips or however long the default sounds are in the game. Its up to us to select the correct marks on each song so that what we hear in the game is the correct 5-10 second portion.

The player walk ups sometimes play only 5 seconds. Whats cool though, and you guys will see in a few hours, if you play on broadcast presentation there are a ton of cutscenes, camera angle cuts, replays, other cool things. Way more than years past. So when they do these things between batters the audio clips play 30 to 40 seconds which is really cool.

Between innings is short. No matter what. I've not heard any longer than 10 seconds and that's only if they show a replay.

Also reliever entrances are really short. The only way they are longer is if you warm up your picture.

I can't wait for you guys to get your hands on this game it's so sick.

Id like to remind everyone to go into presentation settings and adjust the audio settings. This is a must. When I first played the game at default audio settings everything was too quiet and it was very anti climactic for me lol.
We made the tracks as loud as they can be without them clipping and distorting. But with correct audio settings you can get perfect in game volume levels.
